Beyond Mr. Smith

Told through music, rap, poetry and oral history, Beyond Mr. Smith tells the true story of the 92-year journey of L.A.'s maverick literary figure, George Drury Smith, who established Venice, California's Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center. Beyond Baroque has fostered the talents of many poets and writers such as Viggo Mortensen, Exene Cervenka, John Doe, and Patti Smith.
