A seemingly prim and orderly woman struggles to cling to her sense of reality when her concerned sister enlists the help of a social worker to show her that her compulsive lifestyle is a delusion. 45 million American adults experience mental illness. EXTREME tells one such story about a woman, her sister and grief. Taking this opportunity to highlight mental illness in a unique way, our hope is to elicit honest and open dialogue by raising awareness to those who suffer, as well as questioning what is deemed acceptable behavior by society and almost more importantly why?
