It is only the child who is able to view the world with a pure heart and to laugh at it lovingly and to justify it through laughter. Anna mocks stupidity, injustice, ugliness in human behavior. At times, she also exposes herself to ridicule in her impulse to gain knowledge of the world. She makes us laugh but she also evokes love.
