Tejimola

The ancient oral folktale “Tejimola” has been chronicled in early twentieth-century development in literature, a rendition of the Assamese writer Lakshminath Bezbaroa in his book Burhi Air Xadhu (Grandmother’s Tales). With a Cinderella narrative, “Tejimola” has been a part of popular cinematic adaptations over time.
