The legend tells, that count Falkenstein sought immortality through the souls of his victims. He went down in history as the first serial killer, even before Jack the ripper. Thirteen people fell to the "stake killer" before he was captured and executed in 1799. Even today whispers of his name roam through the secluded german highlands. Unaware, a group of young backpackers sets out on a hiking trip to the swabian alb. But this innocent outing will soon become a horrifying nightmare. Chased by a mysterious killer, they have little time to solve the riddle. Has Falksenstein returned? And how do you defend yourself against an immortal enemy?
