Summer confronts George over his accusations. When Christina is caught in a lie to the police, she hastily advises George to tell Lisa what he saw that fateful night. Worried Daniel tells Jodie that 'Truthteller', his internet troll, is someone who knows him very well. Spotting David by the bar, scheming Jodie suggests it might be him.

When Summer overhears that George told the police about her lies, she panics, packs a bag and leaves, telling Todd she's flying to the States that afternoon. Now that Megan has been released on bail, Will tells Tim that he's not going to be able to relax and will be forever looking over his shoulder for the paedophile.

After Jodie announces it's her birthday, Daniel takes her out for lunch. In the middle of the celebrations, Shona arrives and reveals her sister's birthday is in December. Will swerves his PE exam, and Bethany finds him in the precinct. Understanding what he's been through, she tries to comfort him and is accused of touching him up.

As George and Christina try to make up with Todd for their part in Summer’s drastic situation, Todd’s having none of it and announces he’s moving in with Sarah. When Sam confronts Will, telling him he’s evil and he wishes him dead, the teenager climbs to the top of the shop scaffolding and starts swigging vodka.

As a group of rowdy businessmen cause trouble in Speed Daal, newcomer Idris sweeps in to save the day. But there's more to Alya's relative than meets the eye. Hope tells Will she saw him with Megan. Later, as Will picks up his coat, he finds a note from Megan with her new mobile number on it. What will he do with it?

Daniel is ambushed by two lads who throw paint at him and hurl insults and then film his reaction as he loses his temper and threatens to kill the pair of them. Idris offers Brody his first job, cleaning out a flat he's renting. As Adam, Alya and Idris celebrate Eid, Alya says that Idris can stay with them.

When Danielle publicly accuses Todd of killing Theo for his life-insurance money, Ryan follows Danielle and tells her he recognises her from the night of the murder. As a thug threatens Leanne, she sends him packing. Impressed, Idris invites Leanne for a drink. As they get to know each other and click, he moves in for a kiss!

Tensions are running high as one witness lies to the police about their movements on the night of Theo's murder - and then a dark secret is finally revealed. When Leanne admits to kissing Idris, Alya warns her to steer clear of her relative for her own good. As Idris walks down the Street, the ladies' man flirts with Tracy.

It's all too much for an anxious Daniel as he returns to work. After a day from hell, he spots Megan and lays into her for ruining his life. Is Megan in danger? Summer tells Todd she's considering pleading guilty to manslaughter. Todd asks Lisa if he can have his phone back from the police, but it turns out they've never had it.

A distraught Daniel realises Jodie is his troll. Drunk, he passes out, leaving Bertie to try to make his own dinner. Soon, smoke starts pouring out from the kitchen. Lisa moans to Carla about her new boss DI Thompson and how she's happy to let Summer take the rap for Theo's murder without looking at the other suspects.

When Jodie makes a veiled dig at David about him saying her name when he climbed into bed with her, David squirms and wonders whether to tell Shona. Brody's doing well working for Idris but Leanne is worried and grills Idris about the work he's giving the teenager, believing it might be something dodgy.

Maria tells Gary that Sarah forgot Bethany's birthday, Gary leaps to Sarah's defence. Brody's arrested for theft after his fingerprints are found all over Todd's phone. Daniel fears he's losing everything when Ken suggests his drinking is getting out of control. Then, he's horrified when social services suddenly turn up on his doorstep.

Kit interrogates Gary about Todd's phone and is convinced he isn't telling the truth. Todd hears jailed Summer's in hospital, having stopped taking her insulin. Daniel receives a visit from a social worker. David and Shona miss a milestone moment with baby Harper. Hope urges Will not to give up on athletics due to Megan.
