Mister Rogers' Neighborhood

Title number 0001. Opens with Mr. Rogers talks about tying his shoes. Mrs. Russellite sends an invitation to Mr. Rogers to see her lampshade collection. Lady Elaine's changes to the geography of the Neighborhood of Make-Believe worry King Friday, who begins to impose new rules and restrictions in Make-Believe, and builds a wall.

Title number 0002. Opens with Mr. Rogers arrives with a painting. Mr. Rogers shows how a burlap bag can be many different things when one imagines it. After he turns it into a cape, Betty (Lady) Aberlin comes to visit and he lends it to her for strength when she goes to visit her great-uncle, King Friday XIII. Meanwhile, King Friday worries about an invasion of people who want to change the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and drafts her as a border guard.

Title number 0003. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a package from Chef Brockett. Because of the new rules and restrictions in Make-Believe, Cornflake S. Pecially refuses to visit the castle. Chef Brockett delivers a cake to King Friday, who is suspicious of more changes, cuts the cake into many pieces to inspect it.

Title number 0004. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a playpen and puppy. Mrs. Carol Saunders also makes her first visit. At the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday still wants to protect his province, so he sends Handyman Negri to install punch clocks at both ends of it.

Title number 0005. Opens with Mister Rogers playing with a feather on the porch. After Mr. Rogers plays with them, Betty Aberlin takes some helium balloons to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Tagging them with a message of peace, she floats them above the castle. When King Friday reads the message, he ceases his efforts to stop change. The wall is taken down. Mister Rogers sings his special family bedtime song called, "Good Night, God" for the first time.

Title number 0006. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a large box in a lab coat. To prepare for his scientific endeavor, Mr. Rogers puts on a lab coat and compares various shells and shell-like objects, including a turtle shell, a conch shell, an armadillo's armored shell and a suit of armor. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Bud Alder compares oil-based and water-based paints. After sharing his wisdom with X the Owl, X teaches Lady Elaine various bird names.

Title number 0007. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a birdcage under a blanket. In the Television house, Mr. Rogers takes care of a canary while, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine is studying birds and learns from Lady Aberlin how practice is needed to learn anything. The "art lady", Mrs. Rubin visits.

Title number 0008. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a Peace Party sign and a paper airplane. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe celebrates a peace party and honors sixteen year- old majorette Lynda Martha as a guest, while Lady Elaine Fairchilde dresses up as a dove of peace.

Title number 0009. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving in a hat with a stack of pictures. Mr. Rogers plays audio tapes of Neighborhood of Make-Believe puppet characters in an effort to allow the viewers guess who they are. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Royal Coach Saunders plays hide and seek with Lady Elaine and X.

Title number 0010. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with binoculars in a case. In the Television house, Mr. Rogers demonstrates the use of binoculars. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin dresses up as a snow goose.

Title number 0011. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with oatmeal and Picture Picture explains how it's made.

Title number 0012. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a toucan in a cage under a blanket. Jewel Walker visits the television house, where he transforms into Mime Walker. He heads to Make-Believe, where he helps X learn arithmetic with a musician who is playing a French horn for X.

Title number 0013. Mister Rogers sits on the porch swing listening to the symphony rehearse, and afterwards plays with two different kinds of dominoes. In Make-Believe, Marion Petrov dances for King Friday and Lady Elaine steals King Friday's painting of the Bluebird of Happiness.

Title number 0014. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with an easel, supplies, and a record. Mister Rogers plays the 4th movement of Brahm's Symphony No 1 and improvises on paper how music in a song makes him feel. Mr. McFeely treats Mister Rogers to a visit with Honey, a chimpanzee from the zoo. Professor Joseph Fitzpatrick is introduced to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and he discusses Seurat.

Title number 0015. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving and pinching his finger. Mister Rogers bandages his finger to prove that it is still there even behind the bandage. Vivian Richman introduces folk songs "This Little Light of Mine" and "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands". Dr. Marchl visits the neighborhood of Make-Believe for the first time.

Title number 0016. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with lumber scraps and uses nails to hammer some of the pieces together to make a boat. In this episode, the puppet character Donkey Hodie appears for the first time. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, artist Virgil Cantini visits and shows King Friday some of his nail sculptures. Lady Aberlin knits a sweater for Henrietta Pussycat. X the Owl wants a gift too, so Lady Aberlin promises to knit him a scarf.

Title number 0017. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with papers in his hand. A young donkey named Jenny is visiting Mister Rogers on the porch. Back in the house, he, Lady Aberlin, and Mr. McFeely play a game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey. In the Neighborhood of Make Believe, Donkey Hodie has just arrived and is looking for a place to live. He assures Lady Aberlin and Henrietta Pussycat that he no longer bites.

Title number 0018. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with clarinet in a case. Mister Rogers puts together a clarinet and plays a few notes. He talks about his childhood clarinet lessons and remembers that he did not practice enough. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, clarinetist Loius Paul performs for King Friday and talks about the importance of practice. Mrs. Russellite, played by Barbara Russell brings a pinwheel to Henrietta and is introduced to Donkey Hodie, who is staying in the Tree until he finds a place to live. The pinwheel gives Donkey Hodie the idea to live in a windmill.

Title number 0019. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a toy raft made out of straws. He plays with it and other floating toys in a tub of water. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Scientist Alder is checking the wind velocity for Donkey Hodie, who is looking for a place with a good wind to build his windmill. He decides the best place would be in the hills behind the Castle, but King Friday objects because he wants his privacy. Back at the house, Mister Rogers shows different kinds of fans.

Title number 0020. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a model windmill and talks about how windmills work. Judy Rubin, the “Art Lady,” shows some windmills made by children. She and Mister Rogers make windmills of their own. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Daniel tells Handyman Negri he thinks that King Friday is afraid of Donkey Hodie's biting. Maybe that's the reason the King won't allow Donkey Hodie to put his windmill near the castle. When Donkey Hodie convinces the king that he doesn't bite anymore, the king changes his mind.

Title number 0021. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a bag in which there are two tubs of ice cream. Chef Brockett is ready for Donkey Hodie to break ground for the windmill. Brockett also brings in a snowman made from dough.

Title number 0022. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with multiple wooden boxes. Mister Rogers covers this episode discussing the White House and the U.S. presidents. Meanwhile, Coach Saunders and King Friday do exercises inside the castle.

Title number 0023. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a thin case of eyeglasses. Mister Rogers discusses the use of eyeglasses and Picture Picture shows how they are made. Henrietta also receives glasses from Nurse Miller.

Title number 0024. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with eye charts. Mr. Rogers has his eyes examined. King Friday wants Donkey Hodie's windmill to be built somewhere else.

Title number 0025. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a small house plant and transfers it to a bigger pot. King Friday is visiting with a man who restores antique furniture. Lady Aberlin, X and Henrietta bring housewarming gifts for Donkey Hodie at his home in "someplace else".

Title number 0026. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a baby doll in a bag. Mr. Rogers discusses growing and changes a doll's diapers. A friend brings his 5-month-old baby for a short visit. Nurse Miller also assures Tadpole Frogg he is growing at just the right pace. Mr. Rogers then shows a video of Jamie, his eldest son when he was 14 months old on picture picture. Jamie (a.k.a. James), who is now 8 years old, comes to visit and sing the "tomorrow" song with his dad before they leave.

Title number 0027. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with toy baby crib. Mr. Rogers makes a toy bed and pretends to make a doll sleep in it. Lady Elaine also wants Edgar Cooke's pillow.

Title number 0028. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with nesting boxes. At the television house, someone sends a rather unusual box. After he locks his pillow in a safe, Edgar Cooke expresses his different feelings. Lady Elaine Fairchilde finds her special toy, which is a boomerang.

Title number 0029. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a small loom. Mister Rogers demonstrates the use of a small loom and takes a trip to see the large ones being operated by Nantucket Weavers. In Make-Believe, a four string quartet plays for King Friday. In closing, Mr Rogers sings and plays "Good Night, God" on his piano.

Title number 0030. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a violin and a viola in cases. After Mr. Rogers demonstrates the use of violins and violas, he invites Michael Grebanier to play his cello. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine has a new boomerang trick that is turning everything upside down.

Title number 0031. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving and talking about a trip to the zoo. Mr. Rogers discusses wild animals and Mr. McFeely brings in a Mexican parakeet.

Title number 0032. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a box of masks. Mr. Rogers puts on various masks to prove he doesn't change when he puts one on. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe is trying to trace out what is believed to be a red monster.

Title number 0033. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with ballet art and a bag of oranges. Mr. Rogers gives some oranges to the members of a ballet company that is set to perform "The Sad Monster Ballet".

Title number 0034. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a glass bottle. Mr. Rogers plays music by blowing across bottles of water. Mr. McDonald also makes a visit to play a section of Die Miestersinger on the tuba. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe summons Digger Digorum to search for the mysterious red monster.

Title number 0035. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving and making a tunnel from chairs and a blanket. Mr. Rogers and Chef Brockett make their own tunnels from what is around them. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe finally concludes no red monsters are in the tunnels.

Title number 0036. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving a rocking chair. Mister Rogers visits Mr. Dennis who is demonstrating how to make rattan chair seats by hand. In Make-Believe, Digger Digorum bears gifts as she leaves the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

Title number 0037. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with paints and paper. Inside the Television house, Peggy Lipschutz draws with chalk while Vivian Richman plays guitar and sings four songs, along with Joe Davidson on banjo, and Charles Kubelik on bass violin. Songs include a song in Hebrew, based on Psalms 133, "John Henry" and "This Land is Your Land".

Title number 0038. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a bicycle handle. Mr. Rogers demonstrates exercises by using a stationary exercise bicycle and free weights. He then sings "I Like You As You Are". Lady Betty Aberlin tries out the exercise bike. In Make-Believe, Sara Saturday, who had been the damsel in distress a week earlier and frightened by the monster, is welcomed to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Lady Aberlin sings "Then Your Heart Is Full Of Love".

Title number 0039. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a letter. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe is preparing to hold a reception party for Sara Saturday. Handyman Negri goes to a men's fashion show at the Museum-Go-Round so he can find the perfect outfit for the reception.

Title number 0040. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with two cut out S shapes and dressed in a tuxedo. The reception party for Sara Saturday takes place.

Title number 0041. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving in a rain coat twirling a bag. Mister Rogers talks about sewing, and shows a needlepoint creation of the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Corny, X and Henrietta have various reactions to the rain in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Lady Aberlin and X sing "Creation Duet".

Title number 0042. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a book about paper airplanes and sits on the porch to sing. Lady Aberlin gives X the scarf that she had promised for him after she visits with Daniel Striped Tiger and they sing "I Like You As You Are". In turn, X gives her a walnut, and she takes it to the new trading tower that Grand-père has established.

Title number 0043. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a harmonica and sits on the porch. Mister Rogers talks about missing people and plays a harmonica, then his piano. He plays about his feelings. In Make Believe, John Reardon appears for the first time. King Friday asks him to make an opera, and Reardon gets started on it right away. Back at the house, Mr Rogers shows how to write music on a chalkboard.

Title number 0044. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a milk bottle. Mr Rogers takes care of a baby chimpanzee. Reardon holds auditions for his opera while Mrs. Frogg provides the costumes. Sara Saturday has to babysit during the opera so Henrietta decides to be a babysitter in the opera.

Title number 0045. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a box with a hat and cape inside. During Reardon's opera, Lady Aberlin hires Henrietta to look after Donkey Hodie.

Title number 0046. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a briefcase. Mr. Rogers gets a haircut while discussing with the barber how it doesn't hurt. The same barber also cuts Corny's hair and a gymnast named Bernard is in Make Believe.

Title number 0047. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a book of Fur, Feathers, and Hair. Mr Rogers reads a book that depicts Henrietta and X the Owl. They are flattered when Lady Aberlin shows them. Nicholas and Marion Petrov visit the Neighborhood of Make-Believe dressed up as X the Owl and Henrietta Pussycat. They dance in both costumes and in leotards.

Title number 0048. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a dachshund and shows a book with all types of dogs. Chef Brockett, who is in apple-giving mood, gives apples, applesauce and apple juice. Mr Rogers and Chef Brockett bob for apples in the kitchen. Mr McFeely brings a poodle before they all leave for the day.

Title number 0049. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a straw in his front pocket. Mr. Rogers uses drinking straws to demonstrate the use of blowing soap bubbles. Mrs. Rubin also shows paintings that were all done with straws. King Friday is missing Sara Saturday. Lady Aberlin invites everyone to the castle to see a dancer named Paul Draper.

Title number 0050. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a picnic basket of fruit. Mr. McFeely brings over a battery operated steam shovel. Dr. Marchl enjoys Grand-père's machine because it responds to all French words. Marchl then talks with Henrietta and X about the way boys and girls do things differently.

Title number 0051. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with stuffed bears. Mime Walker pantomimes Goldilocks and the Three Bears as Grand-père tells the story. Mr. Rogers also gets to see a real trained bear.

Title number 0052. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a bag and a painting. In the Television house, Katie Lewin tells Mr. Rogers how puzzles are made. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri and Daniel organize their own play retitled as "Benjamin Franklin and the Three Bears" at the request of X.

Title number 0053. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a box with items of Benjamin Franklin and a candle maker. Mr. Rogers discusses Benjamin Franklin and reads about Franklin as a boy. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe expands their play into becoming "Goldilocks, Benjamin Franklin, and the Three Bears".

Title number 0054. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with bread in a bag. Alder demonstrates how heat causes things to change. X prints signs to advertise the play. King Friday wants a part in it and the title is expanded to "King Friday, Goldilocks, Benjamin Franklin and the three bears".

Title number 0055. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a string of yarn and a sock. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe stages the play "King Friday, Goldilocks, Benjamin Franklin and the three bears".

Title number 0056. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a basket of vegetables. Chef Brockett also shows cooked vegetables to both Rogers and the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

Title number 0057. Opens with Mister Rogers discussing rabbits brought to the porch by Mr. McFeely. A friend brings over a bunny marionette. Henrietta is bored and is cheered up by a familiar face. It turns out to be Joey Hollingsworth in disguise returning from a trip around the world where he learned new styles of dance and sold many "Rockit" rocking chairs for Corny.

Title number 0058. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with wood for a dollhouse. Mr. Rogers talks about the arrival of a new baby after he puts together a toy dollhouse made all out of wood. Meanwhile, Corny is too busy to spend a lot of time with Joey Hollingsworth. King Friday is also unwilling to give too much of his time.

Title number 0059. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a hammer. Mr. Rogers demonstrates the use of three tools, a hacksaw, a hammer, and a screwdriver. Handyman Negri comes to fix Rogers' sink. Tadpole Frogg expresses his sadness for thinking he had broken a fountain.

Title number 0060. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a marionette. Mr. Rogers demonstrates using a clown marionette and a dance recital by Joey Hollingsworth is prepared in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Daniel and Lady Aberlin play a clapping game. It is at the request of Sara Saturday that the recital is planned. King Friday tries to blunt the dance recital by forbidding applause and moving the start time forward, as he tries to woo Sara Saturday.

Title number 0061. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a bucket. Mister Rogers makes mud pies and a dam with dirt and water. Professor Fitzpatrick illustrates the difference between a calm sea and a rough sea through showing famous paintings and then drawing with charcoal. Corny and Joey Hollingsworth are digging a well together and as a result, they will be able to sell more rockers. Joey is ready to go on another selling trip for Corny but before he goes, Joey shows Daniel how a water pump works and gives one more little dance.

Title number 0062. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with bottle of milk in a bag. With pipes now carrying water into Corny's factory, Corny sends a water-filled goblet and cup to King Friday.

Title number 0063. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with hot dog buns in a brown bag. Mister Rogers warms some wiener buns in his oven so that Chef Brockett and Mr. McFeely can enjoy them. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, everyone has turned their attention on the fire that has completely burned down Corny's factory. King Friday and Henrietta are especially frightened. Chef Brockett and Lady Aberlin help to put out the fire. Corny is devastated, so Daniel shows kindness by inviting him to stay with him at his Clock until the factory is ready again. Mr. Rogers talks about how many things can be scary when they are out of control, such as fires.

Title number 0064. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving and then discusses firemen. Picture Picture shows what firemen do before they go to help people. Mr. McFeely helps Mr. Rogers put on a fireman's outfit and pretend rescues a doll. He also sings "Sometimes I Don't Understand". In Make-Believe, Handyman Negri and Daniel help Corny to process his sad and mad feelings, giving him hope from his distressed state. Handyman Negri gets right to work, rebuilding Corny's factory. Lady Elaine is worried that everyone thinks she started the fire, but we learn that even she can be an imp, she never wants to hurt anyone. She and Mr. Negri find the most important pieces of the factory. They sing the "Sometimes People are Good" song.

Title number 0065. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a bag of wood logs. Lady Aberlin, Handyman Negri, and X rebuild all of Corny's factory. Everyone donates something to help, including King Friday.

Title number 0066. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a bag of toy cars. Mr. Rogers explains how all toys do what you want them to do. His son, John, also makes his first appearance on the show to play with model antique cars. Meanwhile, at the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Corny's newly rebuilt factory offers to help Mime Jewel Walker in his go-cart play-act.

Title number 0067. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a yoyo. King Friday is ready to dedicate the new factory, but Lady Elaine senses he is afraid of elevators. This changes some of the dedication.

Title number 0068. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a bag of all different kinds of toy bicycles, and explains the difference between them, tricycles, and unicycles. He sings the "Everybody's Fancy" song. He also then attends a children's dance class taught by Miss Nelson and Bruce of Dimension 5 records, and is introduced to Bruce's "musical computer". Later, Blackberry the cat comes to visit before accompanying Mr. Rogers back home.

Title number 0069. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with then reading a poem he wrote. Donkey Hodie has had no visitors at his unseen home and wants some to come.

Title number 0070. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a briefcase containing glass blown animals made by Mr. Zandhuis, who then comes to show how glass is blown into different shapes, such as a swan. Henrietta must tell everyone how to get to "Someplace Else", which is where Donkey Hodie lives. Lady Aberlin coerces the king to come with them by telling him one of his famous speeches is expected. Everyone travels from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe to his mysterious home at the Windmill so that Donkey Hodie can get his wish of visitors all day long. Mr Rogers sings "Once Upon Each Lovely Day".

Title number 0071. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a toothbrush, tooth paste, and tooth powder. He brushes his teeth and shows a film of his dental checkup. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mr. McFeely brings Donkey Hodie some mouthwash. Sara Saturday hosts a dance recital at the castle where the dancers dance to the stories told by Donkey Hodie and King Friday, and Sara Saturday.

Title number 0072. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with plant food and talks about how plants and people grow. Judy Ruben shows crafts that kids made with recycled containers. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday and Handyman Negri start a campaign against littering and they learn that everyone is interested in cleaning up the environment.

Title number 0073. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with two boxes which contain a ring and a hat. Mr Rogers sings "Let's Go Right Away". Lady Elaine is derided for throwing litter around as a protest. What she really has wanted is one of Chef Brockett's cookies.

Title number 0074. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a basket of laundry. Mr Rogers does some ironing and washing clothes. Major Smith gives King Friday a citation to start the Neighborhood of Make-Believe clean-up campaign.

Title number 0075. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a bag of thermometers. Lady Aberlin dresses up as X so she can welcome Miss Emilie, who has been ill for some time. But first, at the house with Mister Rogers, Emilie Jacobson recites one of her poems about coming home.

Title number 0076. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a briefcase and box containing dolls of all kinds. Betty Aberlin visits to finish making a doll for King Friday. Dr. Marchl gets opinions from Corny, Mrs. Frogg, and Lady Aberlin. She is trying to cheer up King Friday, who has been missing Sara Saturday.

Title number 0077. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with an electric amplifier. Lady Aberlin enlists several teenagers to try to entertain King Friday.

Title number 0078. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a bowl and tin of cat food. Rogers takes care of Mr Mc Feely's cat. Handyman Negri is making a list for King Friday. At his instructions, Negri writes "Sara Saturday" on the S page and agrees that he will call her within a day.

Title number 0079. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with an empty box from which he pretends to make a phone. King Friday gets advice on how to contact Sara Saturday. Once she is reached, Sara invites him to visit her at her home.

Mr Rogers shows telephone line equipment and a video. For a while, King Friday has been reluctant to see Sara Saturday outside the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. He finally comes to a decision on this.

John Reardon pretends to be a mailman while he visits the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. He sends a note that King Friday and Edgar Cooke are staying with Sara Saturday a few extra days. Lady Elaine, meanwhile, wants to set up a campsite at the Castle garden.

Jim Wright sets up a tent both inside Rogers' television house and in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Lady Elaine is using the tents as the centerpiece for her upcoming opera. Back at the house Mister Rogers sings "I Like To Be Told".

Mister Rogers brings one of the first kinds of instant developing cameras to the house. Lady Elaine is beginning to develop her own opera, but Reardon has no idea what kind she is making with camping equipment. At lady Elaine's request, he gets his own covered wagon.

Reardon and Lady Aberlin are trying to get King Friday's permission for their opera. Lady Elaine is a campsite owner in the opera and is not pleased with some guests that appear.

After he brings in a kitten, Mister Rogers and Miss Emilie, "the poetry lady", reflect on one of Vija Vetra's dances and Miss Emile brings a special poem.

Mr. McFeely brings two piglets into the television house. A visitor to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe coaxes Lady Elaine to move her tents to Someplace Else.

Mister Rogers brings a suitcase full of different kinds of clothing, and explains how to say it's raining in different languages. Miss Emilie pays a visit with a poem about rain. Having been away for a while, King Friday returns to the neighborhood bearing gifts.

Mister Rogers brings signs to talk about. After Betty Aberlin visits to bring a gift from King Friday and Sara Saturday, she goes back to Make-Believe to hear King Friday's announcement that everyone will get a big surprise next week.

Rogers builds a wood frame. Handyman Negri is building a new balcony on the castle.

Rogers and Mr. McFeely take care of two ducks that have wandered onto the porch before seeing the Vagabond Marionettes' production of Rumpelstiltskin.

A special guest is supposed to enter the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Lady Aberlin takes Lady Elaine's boomerang. But the guest's identity remains a secret, and in her frustration Lady Aberlin accidentally turns King Friday upside down.

Lady Aberlin pantomimes the growth of a plant in the television house. She also presents a flower arrangement for Sara Saturday, who is revealed to be the special guest.

King Friday prepares Sara Saturday's room in the castle.

Mr. McFeely shows Rogers how to blow bubbles by using liquid detergent. He also gives out liquid detergent samples to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Meanwhile, Daniel thinks that King Friday and Sara Saturday will marry.

After Mister Rogers tries on many different types of shoes, Handyman Negri sees that communication with the Neighborhood of Make-Believe is intact by repairing the "telecan". Norma Canner and her young students perform dance steps for King Friday.

Mr. Farnum and his daughter Cindy Farnum discuss stones and how they are cut and polished for jewelry. Mr. Anybody makes his first visit and decides he'll be a stonesmith. Mr. Anybody gives stones to several neighbors in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. King Friday selects stoned for mounting on rings for Sara Saturday and himself.

The Neighborhood of Make-Believe celebrates Scottish Day. Mister Rogers invites Mr. Anybody (Don Franke) back who comes in full Scottish attire and a real Scottie dog. A Scottish performance takes place for the King, including a bagpipe player.

Mister Rogers enters with a blue circle and compares it to round objects. Mrs. Frogg receives a telegram that says she has been offered a position at the Westwood zoo, but the Frogg family must get permission from King Friday to leave, since there will be no one to run the Museum-Go-Round.

King Friday needs to find another curator to operate the Museum-Go-Round. The Frogg family cannot leave until Lady Aberlin and others can fill that post. In the meantime, King Friday has a portrait of himself to give the Frogg family. Handyman Negri also arrives at Rogers' television house to collect a frame for the picture which sends to the neighborhood on the trolley.

Rogers discusses antiques and uses a vacuum cleaner to show how it works. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine applies for the position of Museum-Go-Round curator. Since she knows everything in the Museum, she is awarded the job. This enables the Frogg family to move to Westwood.

The Frogg family moves to their new home in Westwood. Tadpole Frogg expresses his feelings about the move. Lady Elaine Fairchilde, the Museum-Go-Round's new curator, is also pleased with the move.

Rogers brings ducklings into the Television house. For their benefit, he fills a wading pool and both he and François Clemmons feed the ducklings. Lady Aberlin and Lady Elaine discuss the difference between being alive and being a model. Robert Troll tells King Friday that Sara Saturday will soon be arriving from Westwood.

Rogers welcomes a trumpet player to his television house. Sara Saturday also moves back to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

Rogers paints the swing on the porch of the television house yellow. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe Castle is closed so King Friday can have important meetings.

The Neighborhood of Make-Believe is in the midst of a change. X the Owl turns the Z on his knothole door to an X, Lady Elaine Fairchilde paints the pillars of her Museum-Go-Round. But the big change is the news that Sara Saturday will marry King Friday.

King Friday and Queen Sara give interviews for their upcoming wedding.

The Castle holds a fashion show of many wedding garments.

Robert Troll measures the many wedding gifts that are pouring into the Castle.

Rogers brings mittens and gloves in a briefcase into the television house. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday orders that any guests to the royal wedding must take a bath and wear purple gloves.

The Neighborhood of Make-Believe stages a variety show, which includes a ballet called "The Purple Glove Ballet".

Lady Elaine Fairchilde and Handyman Negri give their present for the Royal Wedding by changing the old Castle into a new, larger Castle.

Rogers, Miss Emile, and Chef Brockett carry out their plans for the Royal Wedding. What nobody knows until late is that King Friday wants the wedding to take place in the redesigned Castle garden.

While King Friday and Queen Sara are away on their honeymoon, Robert Troll welcomes his old friend, Dr. Bill Platypus, to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

Dr. Platypus and Mrs. Platypus move into the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. X and Henrietta do what they can to accommodate them.

Rogers shows the insides of a buckeye. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Officer Clemmons helps the Platypus family settle temporarily in the Tree.

The Platypus family must wait for Digger Digorum to return before they can dig their new platypus home.

Rogers brings in various shovels, one of which he uses to put down fertilizer. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Henrietta has sewn curtains with a duckbill pattern. These go to the site for the new Platypus mound. Rogers also shares his homemade recipe for making Ice pops.

While digging the Platypus family's home, Digger Digorum and Handyman Negri discover a box containing a magic kite.

A magician performs many tricks at Rogers' television house. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the magic kite gives advice to everyone, including Digger Digorum.

Officer Clemmons pretends to be the voice of the magic kite. This convinces first Daniel and then X and Nurse Miller that the kite can talk and sing.

X wants the magic kite to add. Joey Hollingsworth returns just as Corny makes a rocking chair for kites.

Joey Hollingsworth returns with news that King Friday and Queen Sara will return on the following Friday. He gives to Corny the orders for chairs that must be filled by that time.

Mr. McFeely brings Lightning, a small horse, first to Rogers' television house and then to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. He hears Donkey Hodie has broken his arm, but it is actually an arm of the windmill that has been broken and not one of his real arms.

Rogers plays a Xylophone and visits percussionist Jean Wilmouth. Those in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe are sad because King Friday and Queen Sara are still on their honeymoon.

Edgar Cooke and Joey Hollingsworth, along with Lady Elaine, plan to decorate the Neighborhood of Make-Believe for the Royal family's return.

Joey Hollingsworth is dressed up as King Friday as part of the ceremony to welcome back the Royal couple. Lady Elaine instructs Lady Aberlin to dress as Queen Sara. This causes mass confusion and more discussions.

King Friday and Queen Sara return to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe to find the disguised Joey Hollingsworth and Lady Aberlin.

In the Television house, Rogers plays a matching game. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the Royal Family give moving frames to X, Henrietta, and Lady Elaine.

Rogers uses a balance scale to compare weights. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe is beginning plans for their upcoming carnival. X and Lady Aberlin demonstrate the talents they will display there.

Chef Brockett must explain cotton candy and carnivals to King Friday, and neither interest him. Lady Elaine gets into her fortune-teller mode for the upcoming carnival.

King Friday puts a damper on the carnival plans because he had not been asked for permission to hold it at the Castle.

With permission from King Friday, the Neighborhood of Make-Believe holds its carnival.

A Wizard enters the Neighborhood of Make-Believe to find Lady Elaine Fairchilde. He plays games and then stubs his toe, prompting Dr. Platypus, who also meets King Friday for the first time.

The Wizard of Lupovich leaves the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, but not without leaving a box for King Friday and others to watch.

Dr. Bill and Elsie Jean Platypus, among others, are curious about the box the Wizard of Lupovich had left for them. When the neighbors gather, the box opens itself to reveal a bunny cap. Anyone who puts it on, hops around.

Handyman Negri lets Corny, X, and Henrietta try the hopping cap. Dr. Bill Platypus has also built up a clientele.

Several of those in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe do not like Dr. Bill's new bagpipes. He decides that he will have to find a different place to play them.

Mabel Mercer arrives in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe with a costume changer for Lady Aberlin.

Rogers looks after Carol Saunders' guitar. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Robert Troll raises some mischief.

Robert Troll wants to live at the campsite at Someplace Else, since Lady Elaine is not using it anymore. But Robert is too afraid to ask, until friends offer him support.

Officer Clemmons has brought a building permit to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, but he does not know who it is for. The building permit, however, is really for a community center at Someplace Else.

Rogers brings in flower pots filled with orchids, tulips, and daffodils. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday is surprised by the sudden quiet. Everyone is watching Handyman Negri building the community center at Someplace Else.

To combat King Friday's boredom, singer Barbara Koski visits the Neighborhood of Make-Believe from Finland.

Rogers plays house with a set of dolls and two houses. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday orders all the locales to be numbered from west to east, all the way from the Eiffel Tower to the Clock.

Officer Clemmons reminds Rogers that Chef Brockett's birthday will be in two days' time. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine tells King Friday he cannot always be number 1. This shows that all the house numbers on all the locales are coming down.

Rogers has to keep secret the cake he is making for Chef Brockett's birthday. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Robert Troll, X, and Daniel discuss their gifts for Brockett.

Today is Chef Brockett's birthday. King Friday offers the Atlantic Ocean as his gift.

Rogers puts together a puzzle Chef Brockett has given him as a thank-you present. Handyman Negri leaves the Neighborhood of Make-Believe for a scout jamboree. His replacement for the week is John Reardon.

Reardon is organizing an opera. Daniel, Lady Aberlin, and Dr. Platypus have parts in it.

Reardon distributes music to those who will take part in the opera. Robert Troll wants to be a whale, and Elsie Jean Platypus wants to play the Loch Ness monster.

Lady Aberlin gives the Trolley a waves costume for the opera, which also fools Corny making him want to have a part in the opera. The entire Neighborhood of Make-Believe will be the backdrop, simulating the sea.

The Neighborhood of Make-Believe stages its opera about the search for a lost teddy bear.

Rogers is doing a puzzle, but Mr. McFeely barges in and takes it before it is even finished. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine surprises Handyman Negri, who drops his souvenir from the jamboree.

Rogers discusses the differences between male and female. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri and Lady Elaine assemble a rocket.

King Friday blocks the launch of Handyman Negri and Lady Elaine's rocket until some rules are laid down for it.

Carole Clemmons, François' wife, has some new poems. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine is mad at her improperly-working rocket.

King Friday completes his set of rules for Lady Elaine's rocket. Once these rules are followed, the rocket rides more smoothly.

Title number 1069. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a big box containing Bob Trow's model of the Platypus Mound. Officer Clemmons shows Rogers the workings at his police station. Dr. Bill and Elsie Jean Platypus also share a magic recipe for making pies.

Title number 1070. Opens with Mister Rogers arriving with a small cup and spoon from the ice cream shop. Rogers receives the Factory model from Robert Trow. Beforehand, Rogers makes simple puppets from wooden spoons. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine orders chairs from Cornflake in preparation for her new pie restaurant.

Rogers plays a game that uses different shapes and groceries. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine Fairchilde is preparing to open a pie restaurant between her Museum-Go-Round and the Platypus mound.

Mr. McFeely finds a puppy, which Rogers looks after until someone finds its home.

Chef Brockett shows how turnovers are made and helps run the new pie restaurant.

Bad manners cost Bob Dog after he eats all the pies in Lady Elaine's restaurant.

Dr. Yen Wang shows two laboratory rats, with which he wishes to show that the study of rats is intended to benefit human beings. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe opens the pie restaurant, but King Friday orders Bob Dog to move it to Someplace Else as a response to what he did in episode 9.

Rogers polishes his shoes. The Pittsburgh Junior Tamburitzans also visit the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, and Bob Dog emerges to dance with them.

Rogers discusses the things children can do with a shoe box. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Queen Sara is escorted to Westwood to visit Dr. Frogg.

Johnny Costa and his grandson visit both Rogers' television house and the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

Rogers enters with a typewriter and the many ways to put the word "typewriter" to paper. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, an artist draws paintings of King Friday and Queen Sara.

King Friday shares his secret with Mime Walker, informing him not to mention a word of it to anyone else.

Rogers has a recent chest x-ray, and explains what having an x-ray taken is about. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine warns her neighbors that King Friday might be starting a wild animal zoo. That, she feels, is his big secret, although it isn't.

Officer Clemmons announces he has accepted a new job with the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. King Friday and Queen Sara announce their secret: they are having a baby.

Lady Elaine and Mrs. Saunders tie up Officer Clemmons in a frantic attempt to keep him from moving to New York.

Betty Aberlin gives Rogers a black angel fish for his tank. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, she dresses up as one. At the Tree, she introduces a song praising Henrietta Pussycat.

Mrs. Clemmons visits Rogers' television house with a poem about her new job title. Rogers invites her to a going-away party to be held the next day. A highlight of the gathering will be Mrs. Clemmons' favorite: raspberry delight.

Mr. and Mrs. François Clemmons are about to leave for New York. In both the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and Rogers' television house, neighbors hold a farewell party.

Rogers shows models of a bicycle and a tricycle. Along the way, he introduces the prefixes "bi" and "tri" to compare what each one means. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Bob Dog fears moving wheels.

Rogers uses a tape recorder to tape the sounds of a xylophone, a drum, and a slide whistle. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday thinks his baby should learn the guitar from birth.

Rogers shows how he reacts when he is angry. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin makes a punching bag from rags and knitting. X complements her work.

When Coach Saunders informs how athletic and exercise equipment can protect oneself, King Friday orders all the equipment for the new royal baby.

Rogers makes a window out of construction paper. Later he picks up a record album at Negri's Music Shop. In between, Chef Brockett goes to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe with a cake for Grand-père and Lady Elaine. Handyman Negri helps Lady Elaine fix the King Friday's broken window.

Mr. McFeely delivers Lady Elaine an invitation to a boomerang contest. To show her gratitude, Lady Elaine shows "Funny Fast Films" of Mr. McFeely and Chef Brockett.

Rogers plays rhyming games and flash cards with Bob Trow. Lady Elaine and several others participate in the boomerang contest.

Rogers shows different sizes of eggs and the animals who lay them. Elsie Jean Platypus says her newly-laid egg will hatch in ten days.

King Friday hears about the baby platypus that will emerge soon. He tries to make the Platypus family leave the Neighborhood of Make-Believe so that his new baby will be the first born there.

Dr. Bill Platypus and Digger Digorum convince King Friday that he will have the first human baby born in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Reminded, King Friday allows the Platypus family to stay. They will have the first animal baby born there.

A fish in Rogers' tank has died. Rogers buries it and, with Bob Trow's help, constructs a tombstone with a pentagon that bears a fish drawing. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, concern hits when the Trolley stops at the Castle and doesn't move. Eventually, with help from Bill Platypus, they find out that the Trolley simply suffered a derailment, preventing full electrical pickup (as explained earlier by Mister Rogers).

At the grave of the fish he had buried, Rogers talks of sad feelings. At Negri's Music Shop, he witnesses the Pittsburgh Junior Tamburitzans play. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the Platypus family waits for their egg to hatch.

Lady Aberlin finds everybody, except Lady Elaine, is at the Platypus Mound, waiting for the egg to hatch.

Rogers demonstrates the use of a cane and shows many ways to write his name. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe celebrates the birth of Dr. Bill and Elsie Jean's baby girl platypus, Ana.

Handyman Negri is among those with a gift for the baby Platypus. It's a song to fit her Latin name, Ornithorhynchus anatinus.

Bob Trow has made his own model of the Neighborhood Trolley and its tracks for Rogers. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday is tired of waiting for the baby to be born. Several neighbors decide to hold a play based on what King Friday puts in a suitcase.

Rogers makes a cardboard suitcase, while in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mr. Anybody finds his apparently empty suitcase has a heavy rock in it. Lady Elaine had to have put the rock inside.

Rogers goes to Negri's Music Shop to see Betty Aberlin perform a few simple magic tricks. Lady Elaine has her reservations about the upcoming play the Neighborhood of Make-Believe will stage. Mr. Anybody tells her she can be in the play if she asks to.

Rogers brings two gerbils to his television house. On a visit to the McFeelys' house, he finds Mr. McFeely looking after a Saint Bernard. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Bob Dog is practicing for his role in the play "Let the Vet Get the Pet", but it isn't easy.

Rogers looks after two penguins for Mr. McFeely. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe holds its stage play, which is about a vet flying in a jet to check on a pet.

Robert Troll visits to see Ana Platypus, as do X and Henrietta.

Dr. Bill Platypus talks about time to X and Henrietta, who have discovered the newborn platypus is too small to play with them.

Mr. McFeely delivers a fortune teller's costume, which Mr. Anybody wears to predict the future.

Rogers welcomes Mrs. Franks, who demonstrates how to carve leather. Later he discusses wearing an eye patch. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri assures King Friday that his eye is underneath an eye patch.

Rogers shows the dog that belongs to his son John. At Bob Trow's workshop, Rogers finds Trow and John working on fingerpaint pictures. Handyman Negri and Lady Aberlin have a message for Bob Dog.

Gifts have been pouring in for the imminent birth of Queen Sara's baby. One of them is a paper crown, which Henrietta takes without asking.

Rogers talks of being able to do certain skills at certain ages. Meanwhile, the Neighborhood of Make-Believe is abuzz with excitement, as Queen Sara gives birth to a prince named Tuesday.

The gifts keep pouring in for the newborn Prince Tuesday, which makes Lady Elaine jealous. Joey Hollingsworth arrives with gifts for the baby and other neighbors.

A watch repairman shows Rogers the proper use of his watch-cleaning machine. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Nurse Miller tells all that Queen Sara and the newborn prince will begin to accept visitors next week.

Instead of the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Rogers sees a story played out in Betty's Little Theater. Four dancers, dressed as raccoons, perform a nighttime adventure.

Lady Elaine is annoyed with Prince Tuesday's constant crying. At one point, she asks King Friday and Queen Sara to send the baby back, although they can't.

Prince Tuesday is one week old, and the Castle is suitably decorated for a celebration. King Friday gives gifts to everyone, which only rides Lady Elaine's jealousy.

Rogers shows how he operates Picture-Picture and the Trolley. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday asks that Reardon put together an opera within two days.

Reardon fears that he doesn't have enough time to write an opera for Friday, but he assembles the basics quickly.

The Neighborhood of Make-Believe holds its opera about the Pineapple Can Telephone Company.

Captain Kangaroo visits Rogers' television house and the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. He sees that Lady Elaine and Donkey Hodie are hopeful that the carrots would grow faster somehow.

Rogers visits Jan Zandhuis, a glassblower, who is doing a project for Mrs. Saunders. King Friday feels baby Prince Tuesday should be taught subtraction.

Rogers makes modeling clay, a perfect spot for son Jamie to discuss clay figurines. Dancer Ethel Winter is toured around the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and Someplace Else.

Rogers relates the lessons on teeth that he learned as a child.

Episode 1131- The show opens with Mr. Rogers walking in, carrying several pieces of construction paper. Mary Sweenie and her daughter Meghan stop by and invite Mr. Rogers to come see them tomorrow. King Friday feels that babies are getting too much attention and on Prince Tuesday, he tries to limit such attention to one hour a day. Picture Picture shows us how construction paper is made.

Episode #1132- Mister Rogers and Mr McFeeley make a puppet using paper mache. Meghan Sweenie has her routine check-up. Dr. Mermelstein tells Rogers the basics of this physical operation. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Prince Tuesday's crying prompts some neighbors to take action.

Rogers and Bob Trow make some popsicle-stick crafts.

Rogers discusses the about string quartet (e.g. violins, banjos, guitars) and hears each instrument at Negri's Music Shop. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mr. McFeely delivers a bass fiddle to King Friday.

Rogers demonstrates how music is written as well as performed. Those in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe try to play the bass fiddle, then offer their opinions on the Machine That Plays The Bass.

When King Friday wants to have a waterfall for his Castle garden, Donkey Hodie suggests that they install new plumbing.

While gymnasts perform in the Castle gymnasium, water begins to leak inside. It is revealed that one of the pipes for the Castle garden waterfall is clogged.

Handyman Negri and Donkey Hodie finish the Castle garden waterfall. François Clemmons visits as waterfall singer.

Rogers needs a washer for a fountain he wants to assemble. Instead of taking one from Bob Trow's workshop, he merely leaves him a note. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the Castle fountain works only to a small extent. Lady Elaine has taken the windmill at Someplace Else apart for unknown reasons.

Miss Paulifficate bumps into Daniel's toy tiger and rips it, but she glues it back together. They give a letter to Dr. Bill Platypus.

Mrs. Lawver, a doll collector, presents to Rogers her collection of antique dolls. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Dr. Bill Platypus receives his lesson toward a pediatrician's license. He is to borrow a doll for the practice.

Bob Dog accidentally rips Dr. Bill's second pediatrician lesson and hides. Lady Elaine magically reverses the damage. She also gets a lesson on child care from Dr. Bill.

After he shows some children's drawings, Rogers visits Mrs. Saunders school, talks with the children and watches them play. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mr. McFeely delivers a package from the pediatrician school to Dr. Bill. The letter says he will continue his training in Australia. Thus, the Platypus family will be leaving tomorrow.

Don Williamson visits the television house to demonstrate his radio-controlled model airplane. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday still doesn't want the Platypus family to visit Australia. But then he is given the right to start their flying machine.

Rogers talks of light bulbs and replaces one of the bulbs on the traffic signal inside the television house. Two boys also discuss bird-watching with Rogers.

Rogers shows a hidden object in a drawing of the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. The neighborhood discovers an old toy that Corny used to manufacture: a toy horse in the Chatty-Cathy mold.

Rogers sacrifices NOM for a visit to Betty's Little Theater. When the planned guests aren't able to appear, Betty Aberlin improvises a play with Bob Trow, Joe Negri and Audrey Roth.

When the name "upside-down cake" offends King Friday, he affronts everyone with a short-lived rule that they should say what he doesn't mean.

Queen Sara asks Bob Dog to send a note asking if Henrietta Pussycat can babysit for Prince Tuesday. Bob Dog is distracted with a new rocking chair, but he finds a way to help the Royal Family.

Bob Dog wants to wear shoes so Queen Sara will like him as much as she likes Prince Tuesday.

Joe Negri displays musical instruments that are made out of junk. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine borrows Corny's hammer without asking first.

Rogers draws a song, using paint brushes to visualize the Japanese records he plays. Later Mr. McFeely brings in a big St. Bernard dog. In between, Yoshi Ito enters the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

François Clemmons is going to teach a driver's education course. To help him, Clemmons borrows the traffic signal from Rogers' television house. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Daniel is instructed to wait for Mr. McFeely to deliver groceries intended for the Castle. King Friday asks Daniel to fetch his robes, which causes a quandary for Mr. McFeely.

François Clemmons returns the traffic signal to Rogers. Nurse Miller and Dr. Bill Platypus help X after he hurts one of his wings.

Cornflake S. Pecially is impatiently waiting for his new lathe. In his rush to work the lathe, Corny injures his finger in it. Nurse Miller consoles him. Rogers goes to Bob Trow's workshop to see his lathe.

The Castle is organizing a Jazz festival, and King Friday wants the best jazz musicians. Handyman Negri brings in a blind saxophonist named Eric Kloss. Dr. Bill tells all that they were not responsible for Kloss' condition.

Rogers draws a song based on a recording of jazz and classical music. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday is still trying to shortcut his way to playing the bass fiddle. A gold bass may be the answer.

Bob Brown, the puppeteer, shows Rogers how to make puppets from detergent bottles.

King Friday and Queen Sara implore Lady Aberlin to baby-sit Prince Tuesday. Lady Elaine misinterprets the instructions and assigns Daniel the baby-sitting duties.

Mr. McFeely delivers the book "Fur, Feathers, and Hair" to Rogers. Later McFeely brings in an English sheepdog. In between, King Friday is upset that baby Prince Tuesday will not smile at him.

Rogers makes ice cream by hand-cranking. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, some are wondering about baby Ana Platypus's behavior.

Morrie Turner, author of the Wee Pals comic strip, visits Rogers. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, X begins his printing business.

Lady Elaine wants company, but everyone is too busy for her. She is so adamant that she takes Mr. McFeely's bicycle and refuses to return it.

Rogers decorates some eggs, as do the residents in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

Mary Sweenie arrives late at Betty's Little Theater for her bird dance. X wants to read poetry alone.

Rogers and Mr. McFeely do a bit of secret communicating, with neither one understanding the other. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine is impatient with X's call for privacy while he writes poetry.

X is afraid others will laugh at his poetry should he read it aloud. Lady Elaine is eager to hear this poetry and is already in position to hide her feelings about it.

While seeing the breads at Brockett's Bakery, Rogers learns how a bread slicer works. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe discovers a floating loaf of bread from the Owl Correspondence School. X registers himself for a course.

Bob Trow repairs Mr. McFeely's bicycle, although he is slightly embarrassed because Bob doesn't yet know how to ride a bike. This pours into the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, as Robert Troll begins to learn to ride. This also puzzles Cornflake S. Pecially.

Audrey Roth brings three unidentified cheerleaders to Rogers' television house. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Cornflake S. Pecially must juggle both tasks for Miss Paulifficate and a gift for Prince Tuesday.

Rogers' son Jamie and a friend play with a toy on the floor of the television house. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Robert Troll starts a game of catch, but doesn't want to throw because he thinks no one will throw back.

Rogers shows steam from a tea kettle. Mr. McFeely shows him the use of a steam engine. Robert Troll plays ball with Lady Aberlin, Handyman Negri and Daniel.

Corny asks Robert Troll to dump an excess amount of paint stain into a creek. The resulting pollution leaves a bad smell and tars the Castle fountain. King Friday orders Corny not to manufacture until he can clean up the mess.

Corny and Robert Troll need some help to clean up the paint stain that they caused. Lady Elaine uses her boomerang to return the paint to its can. Afterward, Rogers goes to the McFeelys' house and Brockett's Bakery to see what can be made from scraps of old material.

Rogers needs Joe Negri's help to get a crystal radio working. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri has to figure out why the TV set for King Friday isn't working yet.

Rogers buys a TV set from Negri's Music Shop with a credit card. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday turns the new TV set on, finds a program he likes, and implores that everyone should watch it.

King Friday commands that everyone should watch a television show at the Castle. He borrows a TV set from Lady Elaine so that everyone (except him) will watch it. Bored, everyone else leans toward Lady Elaine, who has a plan brewing at her Museum-Go-Round.

Rogers goes to traffic court to plead the case that led to his parking ticket. Lady Elaine leads a march on the Castle to show that everyone has different interests.

Rogers demonstrates the different sounds made from bells and crystal glasses filled with water. Joey Hollingsworth tap dances in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. King Friday and Queen Sara present Henrietta a bell for babysitting Prince Tuesday, but it makes X jealous.

Tom Flynn and the Southminister Bell Ringers perform at Negri's Music Shop. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Henrietta's constant bell-ringing proves a nuisance to X the Owl. But he refuses to tell why the bell annoys him.

Rogers makes a musical instrument out of an oatmeal box, a large button, and some string. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Henrietta's bell goes missing. This leads Lady Aberlin to talk to a jealous X.

X wants to ask King Friday for a job. He earns the title printer of Royal calling cards.

A plumber replaces the clogged elbow in Rogers' sink drain. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe sees the same plumber retool the Castle Fountain so it can re-circulate water.

A magician performs part of his act at Betty Aberlin's theater. He is seen again in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, but on harder times.

Andrew Wyeth illustrates to Rogers the work behind an animated film based on Rogers' song "You've Got To Do It". The Neighborhood of Make-Believe establishes the King Friday and Queen Sara Saturday Foundation for the Performing Arts.

Rogers explains the size of things by having a tailor alter a suit jacket. Those in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe donate things to the Appel family.

Lady Aberlin is asking those in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe to donate to the new performing arts program. Lady Elaine refuses to contribute until she learns what King Friday is donating.

Handyman Negri gives X the Owl a lesson in music history from the Owl Correspondence School. The record is an owl history music lesson that X has been hoping for.

Bob Dog is saddened because Daniel doesn't want him near the Clock. Still, Bob Dog wants to talk with Daniel.

Rogers takes some vegetables to Bob Trow. X the Owl wants to play the harmonica alongside the King's bass violin.

Rogers helps Bob Trow inflate one tire of a tandem bicycle. Fog in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe causes Bob Dog to lose a stone intended for King Friday.

Astronaut Al Worden stops by the television house to show how his space suit works. His scheduled arrival in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe the next day, prompts various reactions from the neighbors.

Lady Elaine is prepared to go to the Moon by any means. Later in the visit, Rogers goes to the Brown Marionette studio to work on a piece with Chef Brockett.

Rogers and Al Worden recall the question-and-answer period they conducted with children about going to the Moon. Worden shows the envelope of questions he took with him on his mission. Lady Elaine turns him upside-down with her boomerang.

Al Worden shows more equipment that he took to the Moon, and he discusses the one side of the Moon that is never seen on Earth. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday gives Worden a model Solar System.

Rogers makes a crayon rubbing of leaves. Mrs. McFeely invites him to their house to see a fern and a reptile called a caiman. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine is still thinking about space travel. She sends Mrs. McFeely for leaves on which, Lady Elaine thinks, she can ride to Jupiter.

Rogers plays with blocks and then with clay. Later he calls François Clemmons, offering him a position as voice teacher. In between, Lady Elaine insists she will fly from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe to Jupiter. She goes through a day of preparation.

Mr. McFeely shows Rogers a duck. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine commands attention as she begins her flight into space on a ship made of leaves.

The Brown Marionette Company opens one room in their studio for François Clemmons to give voice lessons. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine radios back about her flight through space.

Rogers visits François Clemmons's music class. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine is reluctant to shake off living like the Pauls and Paulines of Planet Purple. She even refuses to talk to X.

Chef Brockett presents snow pudding to Rogers at the bakery. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine wants to make snow, but she can't get it just right.

Rogers talks about practice by showing different pairs of skates. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine's snow-making succeeds, which doesn't exactly bear well with everyone. It does persuade John Reardon to make an opera about snow.

Rogers explains how only grown-ups can change light bulbs with a ladder. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine experiments to make multi-colored snow, which backfires and plugs up the sky.

Rogers uses the heater for the fish tank and shows the room's radiator. He also sees that the Brown Marionette Theater is heated with a furnace. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Henrietta begs for a role in the upcoming opera.

The snow opera features an angry girl who has interrupted a badminton game. She makes snow and turns the badminton players into snow people, but she needs help to get the snow to melt.

The bulb burns out in Picture-Picture, so Rogers gets a new bulb at Negri's Music Shop. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the telecan kiosk by the Tree begins to bob up and down uncontrollably.

Mr. McFeely has been taken ill because he has been in too much of a hurry. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, X gets a lesson from the Owl Correspondence School.

Rogers talks about staying still, something that Mr. McFeely will need to practice. The same thing occurs for the telecan kiosk. Handyman Negri tries to tie it up, but that interferes with King Friday's calls.

Rogers uses a pitch pipe at his television house and with François Clemmons. Mr. McFeely demonstrates one of his sitting-still exercises. The crisis in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe is stopped in conjecture, as Rogers tells viewers they will have to decide the outcome on their own.

King Friday wants to fool Lady Aberlin and others with a marionette of the king pretending to fly.

The Castle has lost its XIII plaque. It's up to Lady Aberlin and Handyman Negri to find it.

Ezra Jack Keats visits the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and tells a story about a bad king. Keats must report his story to King Friday.

King Friday sends Mr. McFeely to deliver things for the water skiers who will appear later in the week. Rogers watches ballet dancers and demonstrates a musical triangle.

Rogers shows that even when things are hidden, those things still exist. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mrs. McFeely and Handyman Negri look for Mr. McFeely. Lady Elaine helps a tired Mr. McFeely do his job.

The McFeelys bring two African lion cubs to Rogers' television house. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin helps Handyman Negri with his tasks.

Rogers and Elsie Neal make clay figures of a person and a horse. Handyman Negri and Lady Aberlin, wearing a horse costume, give Henrietta a ride. X must face his feelings about being alone. This is the last episode of the series where "Tomorrow" is the closing song. This is also the last season to use "The Weekend Song" which was only done as the closing song on Friday episodes.

Rogers gives a Santa Claus costume to Chef Brockett. Both Betty Aberlin and François Clemmons talk of how as children, they used to be afraid of Santa Claus. Santa Claus, himself, also comes to the neighborhood. This is the first series episode to use the closing song "It's Such a Good Feeling". This continued as the closing song until the end of the series in 2001.

Rogers demonstrates how to use a microscope, and visits the Neighborhood Barber Shop for a haircut from Nick the barber. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine is intent to cut Santa Claus' hair without his permission.

Rogers pretends to be a bird at François Clemmons' studio. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday makes another bad rule, that nobody can have bare hands. Lady Elaine doesn't take the rule seriously until a cold breeze blows by.

Chef Brockett is planning to add a soda fountain to his bakery. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin brings back the toy horse which, when a string is pulled, says "I know". X gives her a toy seagull which says "you know" when a string is pulled.

Rogers and several other neighbors attend the opening of the new soda fountain at Brockett's Bakery. Eric Kloss visits the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, telling King Friday how the other senses tell a blind person about the world.

Mr. McFeely wears a new Speedy Delivery uniform. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Henrietta shows her disdain for getting Collette's old clothes, which don't fit.

Collette has sent dresses and hats from Paris to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. One of the hats is too big for Henrietta Pussycat, so Lady Aberlin gives it to Queen Sara.

Golfer Carol Mann visits Rogers' television house to show his golf equipment. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, X swings his golf club, inadvertently knocking boxes out of Corny's hands.

Rogers hears Bob Trow lead his a cappella group at Negri's Music Shop. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Corny and Robert Troll want to console X.

Rogers' telephone isn't working, so the telephone repairman makes a visit.

Rogers tells viewers of the time he had an imaginary friend. Daniel has an imaginary friend, Malcolm Apricot Dinko, whom he consults to decide whether he should spend the night with Grand-père.

Rogers discusses sleep, with help from the McFeelys. Sunset reaches the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, and Daniel still doesn't believe he can to go to Grand-père's for the night. Donkey Hodie has advertised his need for a helper at Someplace Else.

Rogers hears a harmonica band at Negri's Music Shop. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Donkey Hodie realizes that Malcolm Apricot Dinko cannot help much with harvesting the vegetables.

Mrs. McFeely has a cow named Harriet, and Rogers sees how Harriet is milked. A new arrival to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Harriet Elizabeth Cow, answers the call for help at Someplace Else.

Ana Platypus is beginning to speak. Harriet Elizabeth Cow is pleased to see her.

Lady Elaine Fairchilde decides to make mischief at the welcoming party for Harriet Elizabeth Cow. When a splash of milk ruins the welcoming cake, some believe Malcolm Apricot Dinko is responsible.

Guy Disalvo visits Rogers' television house to talk of his sugar-cube structure. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine wants to know who Lady Aberlin likes better: Harriet Elizabeth Cow or Lady Elaine.

Lady Aberlin is dressed as a ballerina, dancing with Robert Troll to Lady Elaine's piano music.

Paul and Pauline command that Purple Panda broke a law by rocking in a rocking chair. As a punishment, Purple Panda cannot return to Planet Purple.

Bob Trow is working on a bird house for a wren. King Friday has a new wooden bird on a stick called Troglodytes aedon.

Rogers has props for Bob and Judy Brown's production of The Three Little Pigs. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday wants to buy an airplane.

John Reardon and Lady Aberlin are still planning the opera and need a king and a pilot. King Friday decides he can't be in the opera. François Clemmons will make a good king, and Miss Ito can be a pilot.

The Neighborhood of Make-Believe holds its opera on Potato Bugs and Cows. Lady Aberlin plays Priscilla, an unsatisfied cow who wants to be a potato bug. A segment of Fred's discussion about Priscilla Cow's emotion had a cameo on a television screen in the 1995 film Casper.

Rogers hears a barbershop quartet at Negri's Music Shop. Lady Elaine starts a vocal chorale with Harriet Elizabeth Cow and Lady Aberlin. This is the last series episode to use the original city model in which it had been in use since Season 1.

In this episode Mister Rogers paints the walls of the television house blue. From Seasons 2-3 the walls of the television house were painted yellow with the brown wooden bottom panels. From Seasons 4-6 The walls of the television house were painted a brighter yellow but more of a tan color and the brown wooden bottom panels were removed from the walls. Parts of the kitchen set were also updated. The walls of the television house would stay blue until the end of the series in 2001. Beginning with this episode Mister Rogers says "You're alive" in a higher toned voice. This is the first episode to use what would become the show's more-familiar neighborhood toy-like model town and it was used until the end of the series in 2001.

Chef Brockett and Barbara Russell apply clown make-up at Betty's Little Theater. Rogers completes his reading of The History of Planet Purple. Lady Elaine whisks herself and a panda from the circus for a weekend on Planet Purple.

Chef Brockett makes waffles at the McFeelys' house. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, he begins searching for maple syrup. Lady Elaine promises she will make syrup by Thursday.

In the television house, Rogers gets a hole in a bucket repaired. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine wants to go into making maple syrup.

Rogers witnesses actor Iron Eyes Cody and a Native American family teaching dances to François Clemmons. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine plans to get maple syrup for the harvest festival. To start it, she tries to tap X's oak tree.

After Lady Elaine Fairchilde fails to get maple syrup from X's oak tree, Chef Brockett helps her remember the brown sugar syrup she enjoyed as a child.

Tim Scanlon is at Bob Trow's workshop enlarging photographs. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday wishes to hold a dinner for Professor Scanlon.

Mr. McFeely gives Rogers a pullover shirt from Elsie Neal. Later Rogers hears a marimba and a xylophone at Negri's Music Shop.

Since Corny said Lady Elaine is his best neighbor, she gives him freshly squeezed orange juice. In his appreciation, Corny gives Lady Elaine a baseball bat. This, she thinks, is a sign that she and Corny are engaged.

John Costa performs his accordion at François Clemmons' studio. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine decides she will marry Corny the following Wednesday. Lady Aberlin feels Corny knows nothing about the engagement.

Rogers meets a weaver at Elsie Neal's Craft Shop. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Elsie Jean and Miss Paulifficate plan for Lady Elaine's shower.

Rogers works a sandsifter and says that only water flows through a bathroom shower. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe holds its shower for Lady Elaine.

Rogers goes to the McFeelys to work a player piano, even though Mrs. Mcfeely had not been told about it. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine thinks Joey Hollingsworth will be the best man for her apparent wedding with Corny.

Professor Arne B. Larson shows a few ancient musical instruments at Negri's Music Shop. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Corny leaves on a business trip, ruining Lady Elaine's thoughts of a wedding between them.

Back in Negri's Music Shop, Arne B. Larson demonstrates handmade musical instruments. Those in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe try to get a dour Lady Elaine to attend a party.

Rogers shows all the puppets he uses in the Neighborhood segments. He and Bob Trow (the man behind Harriet Elizabeth Cow) demonstrate the washer-dryer-sorter-dumper. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine overcomes her disappointment of the day before by starting a television station, called MGR-TV.

Rogers shows how a bed tray is used. Lady Elaine Fairchilde puts on cooking shows at MGR-TV. But the station is strapped into inaction because Lady Elaine doesn't have a TV license.

Rogers first shows his driver's license. As a favor for Mr. McFeely, he gives a delivery to Trow's workshop. Robert Trow is giving a lesson on silkscreening to a professional artist. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe has waited a weekend for the license for MGR-TV. A few hurdles still have to be cleared. X and Mr. McFeely have delivered to an empty studio. But Lady Elaine and King Friday arrive in haste, eager to get MGR-TV back on the air.

Negri's Music Shop has a display of television equipment. Rogers and Negri take turns working the camera and performing music on-screen. Before leaving the shop, Rogers encounters Terri and Chrissy Thompson, who are arranging a puppet show. MGR-TV still continues to emerge at the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, creating program ideas on the spot. To help tiring camera operator, Lady Aberlin, Handyman Negri provides a rolling camera attachment.

Mister Rogers brings with him a collection of puppets from around the world that were provided by the Lovelace Marionette Theatre. He then goes to Elsie Neal's shop to find Elsie Neal helping Terri and Chrissy Thompson for their upcoming puppet show. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine is ready to do remote TV work. The first act is Lady Aberlin in a primitive witch costume, which scares Henrietta.

Chrissy Thompson tells a story of how a girl had despised her braces and crutches, but changed her mind thanks to Chrissy's television visits. X and Lady Aberlin help to comfort Henrietta Pussycat by telling her in song, Witches Aren't Real.

Mister Rogers plays a few rounds of hide and seek with viewers before Audrey Roth invites him to see her new mobile home which will serve as both her home and office. With Frisbees scattered around her desk at the office, Barbara Russell is working on a new promotion for Audrey Cleans Everything: "It's as easy to find our new location as it is to throw a Frisbee." Audrey shows Mister Rogers around her new home. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Purple Panda has recently returned from the circus when Barbara B. Frisbee arrives at the castle. Purple Panda joins her for some Frisbee throwing fun as Lady Elaine Fairchilde recognizes Barbara B. Frisbee as former Make-Believe visitor, Barbara Boomerang. After a target is set up, Lady Elaine becomes upset when she does not win a Frisbee throwing game. Moving the target to the castle, King Friday is successful after some practice with Barbara Frisbee.

Mister Rogers arrives with a frisbee from the previous day as well as a film about people throwing frisbees. At Brockett's Bakery, Mister Rogers visits with Jose Cisneros who is making fresh fruit snacks in the kitchen. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Daniel Tiger and Lady Aberlin share a fruit snack before Lady Aberlin demonstrates a few tap-dance steps.

Mister Rogers arrives having driven his antique car. Taking viewers outside, he shows them the seatbelts before lending the car to Mr. McFeely to make deliveries. At Negri's Music Shop, Mister Rogers meets musician Hector Olivera who is playing the organ. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday XIII gives a photograph of himself to the Platypus family to take on their trip so they can remember "what they are missing while they are away." He asks Handyman Negri to measure the giant Frisbee brought to Make-Believe by Barbara B. Frisbee. Meanwhile, Lady Elaine Fairchilde is warning the Neighborhood about a giant who is coming to throw the Frisbee and is offering seatbelts as protection. Barbara B. Frisbee suggests that everyone will learn the purpose of the giant Frisbee tomorrow. Back at the house, Mister Rogers talks about how things often seem very big to children. In the kitchen, he uses various cut-outs to talk about "big and small."

Mister Rogers arrives with some inkblot cards which he takes to the kitchen. Showing several examples, he talks about what the images look like. Using some food coloring and a blank piece of paper, Mister Rogers demonstrates how the inkblot images are made. He points out a spot of ink on his shirt and talks about people sometimes get angry about spots that need cleaned. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Barbara B. Frisbee and Handyman Negri are polling everyone in the Neighborhood to see what they think the giant frisbee is for. Some have wild guesses while others are still concerned with the possibility of a giant coming. After Barbara nearly lets the truth slip, X the Owl is able to guess that the giant frisbee is not a frisbee at all -- it is to be used as a tap dancing stage. Once the dancing begins, everyone is able to put their fears of a giant to rest.

Mister Rogers cleans out his coat closet and finds a variety of items including stocking caps, dress pants for his sons, and a paper hat. In the kitchen, he uses newspaper to show how to make a paper hat. At Betty's Little Theater, Mister Rogers observes as Lester Evans teaches a tap dancing class. Johnny Costa provides the music for the class. Audrey Roth and Mary Lou Autenreith perform a routine they have been practicing before Mister Rogers tries a few basic steps himself. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin dances her way to the tree where Henrietta Pussycat is cleaning her house. Henrietta plans to give her clothes she has outgrown to Ana Platypus for dress-up play. X the Owl refuses to try on one of Henrietta's hats for fun because he expects that he will then become a girl. Lady Aberlin expains to him that wearing someone else's clothes does not turn them into that person.

Upon his arrival, Mister Rogers promptly visits Francois Clemmons' studio where Mr. Clemmons and Johnny Costa are rehearsing songs for a concert including -- Many Ways to Say I Love You, The Truth Will Make Me Free, and Everybody's Fancy. Returning to his house, Mister Rogers reads a book called Lost Little Boy. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Queen Sara Saturday cannot find Prince Tuesday and asks King Friday and Lady Aberlin for help. After searching the Neighborhood with no luck Lady Aberlin asks Lady Elaine Fairchilde to broadcast the news of the missing prince on MGR-TV. It is discovered that Prince Tuesday was watching television with Edgar Cooke.

Mister Rogers arrives with some large building blocks which he uses to build a tower, a street, and a car. He thinks about some young friends who used blocks and crates to make a pretend fire engine. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mr. McFeely delivers some building blocks to the Platypus mound and Daniel is concerned that the blocks might be used to build "something bad." When Lady Aberlin builds with the blocks, they start to dance around on their own. She and X the Owl (who is pretending to be a fireman) are amazed until they realize that Lady Elaine Fairchilde has attached strings to the blocks.

Mister Rogers arrives with some magnets which he takes to the kitchen to show how they attract each other: "Magnets are hard to explain, but they're really fun to play with. Looking at one of the magnets which is shaped like a horseshoe, he mentions that Bob Trow is making a horseshoe game at the shop. At Bob Trow's workshop, Mister Rogers and Mr. Trow practice horseshoes on the new post Mr. Trow has made. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday and Prince Tuesday sees Ino A. Horse through a telescope.

Mister Rogers arrives with a chromaharp (autoharp) and shows how it is played as he sings Old MacDonald. He shows a picture of a standing harp in a book. At Brockett's Bakery, Mister Rogers compares the size of his chromaharp with a large harp in the bakery's soda shop. Chef Brockett arrives with Edward Druzinsky who plays the harp. Returning to his house, Mister Rogers finds a note from the Gordons who had stopped by to see him and gone to his home to look for him. Calling his wife, he asks her to send the Gordons back to the television house. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri and Daniel Striped Tiger are trying out various musical instruments as they wait for the Platypus family to return from Westwood.

Mister Rogers shows how shoelaces keep shoes together and how a zipper keeps his sweater together. Mister Rogers then spends some time thinking about being in a button factory. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday is playing his bass violin as Handyman Negri helps him pack for a trip to Westwood. Queen Sara suggests that they might want to bring Bob Dog along with them on their trip and asks Handyman Negri to find him.

Promptly after Mister Rogers' arrival, Mr. McFeely stops by with a live skunk. Mr. McFeely also has a film about skunks which he and Mister Rogers watch on Picture-Picture. As Mr. McFeely leaves with the skunk, Mister Rogers talks about the stong smell that skunks can make. At Elsie Neal's craft shop, Maggie Stewart is making flowers out of foam rubber. Mister Rogers helps her cut the foam to create new flowers. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the Frogg family and Mr. Skunk are waiting on the royal family and Bob Dog to arrive in Westwood. Mayor Maggie also waits with a key to the city.

Mister Rogers arrives with two pieces of construction paper which he takes to the kitchen and uses to make a peek-a-boo game. As he plays, he sings Look and Listen before sharing an animation about a moving dot. At Brockett's Bakery, Mister Rogers watches as Chef Brockett and Maggie Stewart make noodle pudding. They pantomime each ingredient before adding it to the recipe. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Edgar Cooke is playing peek-a-boo as he awaits the return of the royal family. His play, however, is bothersome to Miss Paulificate who is trying to work.

Mister Rogers finger paints on a piece of dark shelf paper and shares an animation about animals playing hide and seek. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Francois Clemmons and Lady Aberlin step away from the castle garden to tell everyone of the royal family's return from Westwood.

Mister Rogers arrives with a bucket made by his friend, Jim Johnson. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Queen Sara Saturday is sharing pictures of her friends from Westwood when Dr. Bill Platypus tells her that the Frogg family and H.J. Elephant will be visiting the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

Mister Rogers arrives with a recipe card for modeling dough which he takes to the kitchen. Visiting Elsie Neal's craft shop, Mister Rogers meets Dottie Erdmann who is making scuptures out of wire and clay. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin is talking to Dr. Bill as they wonder where Prince Tuesday might be.

Mister Rogers arrives wearing sunglasses and talks about how it can be concerning to a child when an adult changes their appearance. Francois Clemmons invites Mister Rogers along to the Brown's Marionette Theatre where they are preparing for a performance of Little Red Riding Hood. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin wants to pretend that she is Little Red Riding Hood and asks Queen Sara to be her mother.

Mister Rogers arrives with a large box and does not change into his usual sweater. Instead, he changes into his sneakers and takes a red jacket from the box. Mister Rogers and Mr. McFeely have been asked to take tickets and hand out programs at the Brown's marionette play of Little Red Riding Hood. The marionette play gets underway as the audience enjoys a fun performance of Little Red Riding Hood.

Mister Rogers arrives with a sea captain's desk. In the kitchen, he opens the desk and shows its many compartments. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday XIII finishes dictating a letter to Miss Paulificate before Lady Aberlin arrives at the castle and talks to him about the responsibilities of being a king.

Mister Rogers takes viewers outside where he has a tent set up in the grass. After showing the real tent, he goes back inside and shows how a tent can be made inside using two chairs and a blanket. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, everyone is confused by a tent which appeared overnight.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri is moving some stones from the castle to the Platypus mound.

Mister Rogers has stopped by Negri's Music Shop and arrives with a small electric organ he has borrowed. At Negri's Music Shop, Mister Rogers returns the organ and goes to the rehearsal room where Joe Negri shows a large organ. William McCurdy arrives and demonstrates the organ. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Abelrin asks Edgar Cooke about the tooth fairy but and he responds: "I don't ever sing about secrets and the tooth fairy is a secret."

Mister Rogers arrives with a book of poetry by Al Worden -- Hello Earth: Greetings From Endeavour -- and shares a few of his works. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri is trying to find the reason behind the lack of electricity at Corney's factory and soon finds that the entire Neighborhood is having electrical issues.

Mister Rogers arrives with a game which he takes to the kitchen. The game requires players to place wooden blocks into the proper holes in a box. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the Trolley stops running in front of the castle due to the power shortage as the lights through out Make-Believe begin to fade.

Mister Rogers arrives with a St. Bernard named Rondo. Mr. McFeely had been walking the dog and Mister Rogers asked to borrow him to show to his television friends. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the power has been restored and MGR-TV is back on the air.

Rogers sees the world's largest guitar at Negri's Music Shop. Handyman Negri plays the world's largest guitar in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Reardon calls the King and says he will create an opera about swans.

Rogers operates a machine that simulates the sound of waves crashing. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, several neighbors propose the parts they wish to play in the upcoming opera.

Rogers and Marilyn Barnett watch Vija Vetra dance. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Tony Bennett sings on MGR-TV and does a sketch of Lady Elaine.

Fred McFalls, one of Rogers' college friend, has made a sculpture of Rogers. At the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday XIII announces that his college friend, a lizard, will visit later in the week.

Daniel is afraid the visiting lizard will eat him. King Friday reassures everyone that his friend is a vegetarian. Not only that, but "Princess Margaret H. Lizard" can change into a witch.

Margaret Hamilton visits the television house to discuss with Rogers her work in the classic film The Wizard of Oz. She appears in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe as a princess who is sometimes a lizard. This Princess Margaret is about to stage a festival for remembering the past.

Mister Rogers plays tapes of past television visits, including a segment from the wedding of King Friday XIII and Queen Sara. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Princess Margaret H. Witch presents a crystal ball that shows the past and tells the future.

Princess Margaret H. Witch has left the crystal ball to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. At Brockett's Bakery, Rogers sees John Costa's mother making bread.

Mister Rogers arrives with a new plant which he adds to his aquarium before taking viewers out back to his garage/workshop. In the garage, Mister Rogers shows a variety of items such as his tool collection, a boat, plants, and even a few puppets from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. With a television and videotape equipment set up, Mister Rogers reveals a massive collection of recorded Neighborhood visits.

Mister Rogers is taking things to his garage including a large carrying case used to store the Neighborhood of Make-Believe modles. As he is putting the models in the case, he notices that the base of the tree model has been slightly damaged. Luckily Betty Aberlin is in the garage doing some painting and is able to help repair the tree.

Mister Rogers arrives with a large black cape which he has borrowed from Margaret Hamilton. Taking the cape to the garage, he talks about acting and pretends to be Mr. McFeely. While he waits on a visit from Joe Negri, Mister Rogers shows the video camera he has set up before he sings Pretending.

Mister Rogers arrives with a plastic pail which he takes to the garage. On the way, he picks up a bottle of glue from the kitchen and fills the pail with sand from the backyard sand table. In the garage, he spreads the glue on a large piece of construction paper and sprinkles it with sand. Chef Brockett calls to let Mister Rogers know he will be coming over to bring back the film of Mari Gardner from the previous day. While he waits, Mister Rogers makes another piece of artwork with glue and glitter.

A light in the traffic light has burned out and Mister Rogers arrives with a replacement. After replacing the bulb on the green signal, he spends some time talking about crossing the street safely. In the garage, Mister Rogers shows a recording of a time when Francois Clemmons took him to see the police station. When the clip is finished, Francois Clemmons stops by dressed in his police uniform and sings songs from various Neighborhood operas. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin and Grandpere look into the future to see that Collette has married Daniel Striped Tiger. At the tree with Officer Clemmons and X the Owl, Lady Aberlin learns that X has become a professor at Owl Correspondence School. Meanwhile, Lady Elaine Fairchilde has gone to discover new planets, just as her future vision has suggested.

Rogers is one of a handful of panelists who discuss easing the fear children have about starting school.

Mister Rogers takes his television neighbors to a kindergarten classroom at the local school. Prior to beginning the Neighborhood of Make-Believe segment, he disguises the Trolley as a school bus with a cardboard cover. The disguise arouses everyone's attention in the neighborhood. It gets to the point where King Friday decrees that a school should be built in the neighborhood within three days. After scouting four locations, Lady Aberlin and Handyman Negri decide that the school should be built at Someplace Else. Harriet has agreed to be the teacher for Ana, Daniel, and Prince Tuesday.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine attempts to get the children ready for school. Mister Rogers visits the "real" neighborhood school again, this time learning from the first-grade teacher.

Mister Rogers gets a beginner's drum lesson at Negri's Music Shop. He also discovers Mr. McFeely is learning to type, prompting an unusual quartet version of Everybody's Fancy. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Daniel tells Lady Aberlin his fears about starting school.

Mister Rogers arrives with some pictures of various people around the Neighborhood. He talks about how pictures and sounds can remind you of different people who you haven't seen for a while. To prove this point, Mister Rogers plays on the practice drum pad he purchased at Negri's Music Shop the previous day to remind viewers of his drum teacher and Joe Negri.

The new school at Someplace Else opens, with an inviting atmosphere for Ana, Prince, and Daniel. To finish his school lecture, Mister Rogers rides on a real school bus.

This panel program previews the upcoming week of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood devoted to children's fears and beliefs. It includes footage of Rogers' talk with actors Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno about The Incredible Hulk television series.

Rogers finds Trow making wooden blocks. He asks Rogers to use something "super" to use in his invention. Before leaving, Rogers watches Mr. McFeely's video clip of a dinosaur painting. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe is full of scary talk. Prince Tuesday has been having bad dreams about a dinosaur wearing a crown. He also tries to counter with a "super funnel."

Rogers brings model dinosaurs and takes viewers to a hall of dinosaur skeletons at a natural history museum. A dinosaur with a crown appears in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, although it is really a skeptical Purple Panda in a costume. This is all part of Lady Elaine's ploy to scare the neighbors.

Rogers visits Universal Studios to see Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno during a shoot of The Incredible Hulk. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe residents are still in awe of the Purple Panda dinosaur.

Rogers returns to the film studios to speak with Lou Ferrigno and Bill Bixby. Mr. McFeely shows his video of Ferrigno in make-up to look like The Incredible Hulk. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, everyone discusses the Purple Panda dinosaur. Lady Aberlin wishes to prove that the dinosaur is not real.

Rogers remembers the day he operated a backhoe and a high-lift. At his bakery, Chef Brockett reveals how he makes tapioca pudding. Everyone in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe now hatches a plan to reveal that Purple Panda is the one playing to be a dinosaur.

Guest Jay O'Callahan tells a story about a king trapped in an enormous soap bubble. When King Friday asks for a bubble that lasts, no one can help, until Reardon calls.

Rogers finds a bubble-making machine and a knitting machine at Bob Trow's workshop. Mr. McFeely shows a video of how people make sweaters in a factory. Reardon also visits the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Lady Aberlin decides she will be a sweater-maker for an upcoming opera.

Rogers sees Chef Brockett's treats made from bananas. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the school children provide ideas for the upcoming opera.

Mr. McFeely relives memories of his wedding. Previewing the Neighborhood of Make-Believe storyline, Prince Tuesday befriends a girl whose parents are divorced. This episode has 2 make-believe segments in one show.

Rogers visits the Sturgis Pretzel House to see people making pretzels. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday and Queen Sara squabble about buying a new plane. It upsets Prince Tuesday to the boiling point.

Rogers recalls the day he test-drove an electric car. Later he meets Jeff Erlanger, a boy in an electric wheelchair, who demonstrates his wheelchair and describes some of his physical handicaps. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe continues its all-out search for Prince Tuesday. When he is found, he has a mix of emotions.

Joe Negri shows Rogers a rack of musical instruments that have either been repaired or are in need in repair. They meet Earl Grollman, a counselor who has written a book on divorce for children. Prince Tuesday finally shares his emotions with his family.

Rogers wears a false-face to show that he is still himself inside. The Royal Electric Plane-Car arrives via a clown courier. Behind the mask is Chuck Aber, who has been divorced and doesn't see much of his children. Thus, Prince Tuesday can relate to Aber's feelings. Corny reveals his secret: he is now making rocking-chair-shaped pretzels. Mister Rogers shows viewers the ins and outs of an airplane.

Rogers shows a film on how people make crayons. King Friday decrees a "Draw the Neighborhood" Contest, something which Lady Elaine wants to win.

Mister Rogers visits an art museum to look carefully at the various genres of paintings that are on display. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Henrietta is upset when she hears that Big Bird (from Sesame Street) will visit X.

In Make-Believe, Bob Dog gets hurt playing, and King Friday bans all play. Mister Rogers says no one can learn or grow without play, but it's important to play safely. He plays with a wooden riding toy and shows a video of how it is made.

In Make-Believe, everyone feels sad and upset that King Friday made a rule of "no play allowed" (because they might get hurt playing). Lady Elaine tries to change his mind, and when she can't, she packs up her Museum-Go-Round and leaves!

In Make-Believe, Lady Elaine and her Museum have gone. Even though there is "no play allowed" Ana, Prince and Daniel just have to play, and the Prince speaks up against his father's rule. A musician who is blind visits the Music Shop.

Mister Rogers visits an underground mushroom farm to see how mushrooms are grown. In Make-Believe, King Friday is reconsidering his "no play" rule, and Lady Elaine Fairchilde is enjoying her freedom to play at a real playground.

Mister Rogers walks on stilts and talks about how long it took him to learn to use them. Lady Elaine leaves her playground and returns to Make-Believe where everyone celebrates - even King Friday, who has learned that we all need to play.

Mister Rogers arrives with a piano roll for a player piano. He explains how a piano roll works and talks briefly about how he had to practice regularly to learn to play the piano. At Negri's Music Shop, Joe Negri helps Mister Rogers to demonstrate a player piano before they look inside to see how it works. Before Mister Rogers leaves, Mr. Negri shows a short film about how piano rolls are made.

After a brief mention of the trouble he had zipping his sweater, Mister Rogers shows a handful of plastic pieces. He explains that these pieces are melted down and used to make dolls. Inviting viewers along, Mister Rogers visits a factory where dolls are made. Returning to the house, Mister Rogers talks about how dolls are made and people are born -- dolls are put together and people grow together. This leads perfectly into Everything Grows Together.

Mister Rogers arrives with a towel and a pair of swim trunks and makes good on his promise from the previous day to show viewers where he swims. He talks about how he made a promise to himself to swim a certain length every day and has done so almost every day for ten years. Mister Rogers then shows film footage of his daily swimming. Following the film, Mister Rogers talks about how he doesn't always feel like swimming but he does it anyway because he made a promise to himself to do so.

Mister Rogers shows a pair of ice skates before visiting Peggy Fleming at an ice skating rink where they talk about the importance of practice. Ms. Fleming demonstrates her skills before Mister Rogers joins her on the ice for a few pointers. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine realizes that what she has done to the King Friday dolls was wrong and she, along with Lady Aberlin and the Chief of Discipline, determines that an appropriate may of making up for her actions would be to work two days at the factory. Lady Elaine makes the most of her punishment and begins her work immediately in effort to make Corney's factory more organized. Back at the house, Mister Rogers sings The Truth Will Make Me Free and talks about how sometimes things are difficult when you are young.

Mister Rogers arrives with a blanket which he has just picked up from the cleaners. Unfolding the sofa bed and using the blanket to cover it, Mister Rogers sits and talks about the feelings children have about blankets and teddy bears. He then sings Please Don't Think It's Funny and shows a film about how people make blankets. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Neighbor Aber gives the Trolley a free sample of the C.A. Blanket Company's trolley blankets. X the Owl jumps at the chance to go into business with Neighbor Aber.

Visiting her house, Mister Rogers gets to see many other stuff animals animals she has made in addition to her various wall hangings and other art. Back at the house, Mister Rogers shows a short film about a birthday celebration for a 100-year-old doll which had been passed down through one family's generations. After the film, Mister Rogers comments that "sometimes the oldest toys are the best."

Mister Rogers arrives with a friend's automatic camera which he uses to take a picture of his fish tank. While he waits on the photograph to develop, he sits at the kitchen table and draws a picture of his fish. Cutting out the paper fish, Mister Rogers attaches it to a stick that he can carry with him. Moving to the couch, Mister Rogers shows pictures of animals dressed up for a pet show before singing Everybody's Fancy.

Mister Rogers arrives empty-handed and has some quiet time on the porch while he waits for Bob Trow to arrive with his dog. As he waits, he sings It's a Perfectly Beautiful Day and is surprised when Mrs. McFeely stops by with a parrot in a cage. Just as she leaves, Bob Trow arrives with his dog, Barney, and leaves him in Mister Rogers' care for the night. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Bob Dog is preparing to have his picture taken as a birthday surprise for Ana Platypus. Meanwhile, Daniel is disappointed in his efforts to make his own gift -- a Magic Electronic Supersonic Firemobile -- and decides to seek help from Corney and Handyman Negri. At the castle, Mr. McFeely delivers a parrott which King Friday plans to give to Ana. When King Friday realizes that the parrot will not properly address him as King, he asks Mr. McFeely to take it away. To comfort himself, he brings out his own trusty pet, Troglodytes Aedon.

Mister Rogers returns with Bob Trow's dog, Barney, which he has been pet-sitting overnight. He talks about the time he and Barney spent together and reflects on a long walk they took. Bob Trow then arrives at the house to pick up his dog. Taking out a toy dog, Mister Rogers sings I'm Taking Care of You. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, it's night time and Lady Aberlin is "platypus-sitting" for Ana while Dr. Bill and Elsie Jean go out. She also mentions an upcoming parade being planned for her birthday but asks if she can also have a small party with just Prince Tuesday and Daniel Tiger.

Mister Rogers arrives with a collection of animal paintings made by some young friends. After looking at the paintings, he invites viewers along as he visits the Neighborhood Zoo. At the Zoo, Mister Rogers meets Barbara Bingham who allows him to help feed the panda bears. Mister Rogers then goes on to see elephants, giraffes, tigers, and lions. Back at the house, Mister Rogers talks about there was not a zoo nearby when he was a child. It was during a parade when he was able to see different kinds of animals.

Mister Rogers arrives with a several different kinds of spoons which he takes to the kitchen to show. As he waits on a visit from a friend, Mister Rogers shows a film about how spoons are made. After the film Mister Rogers learns that his friend will not be arriving until a little later so he sings Let's Think of Somthing to Do. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin and Robert Troll are having a pretent tea party and King Friday provides them with some spoons. As they sip their pretend tea, King Friday recalls a time he had tea on the side of a mountain and commands Lady Aberlin and Robert Troll to create a mountain beside the castle. Frustrated by this outlandish expectation, Lady Aberlin and Robert Troll sing Troll Talk as they seek out the assistance of some of their Neighborhood friends. In doing so, they encounter Jeffrey Shade, a baton twirler who is looking for King Friday.

Mister Rogers arrives with a small juniper tree which he shows just before Mr. McFeely stops by with pictures of various other trees. Mister Rogers and Mr. McFeely look at the trees on Picture Picture. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, everyone is working together to covert the Eifel Tower into a mountain by covering it with trees. Queen Sara takes a spill as she is putting a tree into place and is taken to an emergency room by Handyman Negri and Miss Paulificate. Back at the house, Mister Rogers talks about accidents and how sometimes people can hurt themselves and need to visit an emergency room. This leads into Mister Rogers remembering a time when he visited a hospital emergency room. He spends and extensive amount of time talking about each of the various areas in an emergency room. Mister Rogers concludes by singing I Like to Be Told.

Mister Rogers arrives with a large display board showing pictures of several of his Neighborhood friends. After talking briefly about friendship, he shows the picture in the center which is of Buzz Wagner, a shoe salesman. Paying a visit to Mr. Wagner's shoe store, Mister Rogers wants to buy a new pair of shoes. After Mister Rogers spends a few minutes looking at all of the different kinds of shoes on display, Mr. Wagner approaches him to offer his assistance. Sizing up Mister Rogers' feet, Mr. Wagner is not able to find the proper size in the style of shoe Mister Rogers wants. Following Mr. Wagner to the store room, Mister Rogers is able to find a different pair which fits much better. Back at the house, Mister Rogers talks about disappointment and how a person may not always get what they want.

Mister Rogers arrives with a piece of string which he takes to the front porch along with a pan full of soapy water. By tying the string into a loop, he is able to bring it out of the water and use it to make bubbles. As Mister Rogers is making bubbles, Mr. McFeely arrives and invites Mister Rogers to join him on a visit to Betty Aberlin's house. At Betty Aberlin's house, she, along with Mister Rogers and Mr. McFeely, watches as Mary Jo Barron sings songs with a small group of children. While everyone else enjoys a snack, Mister Rogers and Ms. Barron spend some time talking with each other about working with children.

Mister Rogers opens with a visit to the Neighborhood resturaunt where Audrey Roth happily shows him to his seat. After talking about table settings and other common things found at a resturaunt, Mister Rogers orders a sandwich with cheese, lettuce, and tomato on whole wheat. He gladly accepts an offer to visit the resturaunt's kitchen and watch as the chef prepares his sandwich. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, preparations for the royal picnic continue as new instructions from King Friday are being delivered. Working together, Lady Aberlin and Henrietta Pussycat find an opening in the wall between Corney's factory and the Museum Go-Round. Through the passage, they find a garden with a fruit tree at its center. As they pick the fruit, X the Owl arrives with instructions to make a fruit salad.

Mister Rogers arrives with a fife which he has borrowed from Joe Negri. Expressing how difficult it is to play the fife, Mister Rogers takes viewers to the kitchen where he has a row of bottles set up. Using these bottles, filled with various amounts of water, Mister Rogers is able to play Tree Tree Tree. Joe Negri stops by to pick up his fife and invites Mister Roges to join him on a visit to Betty Aberlin's Little Theater. At the theater, a group of musicians demonstrates the fife and plays it along with their drums.

Mister Rogers arrives with many empty food containers which uses for pretending. Later, Robert Trow gives a demonstration of pulleys at his workshop. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe tells a separate story with a rainy outcome.

Mister Rogers arrives with a towel which he uses to play peek-a-boo before a quick game of hide-and-seek with viewers. After talking about a time when he was young and playing hide-and-seek, Mister Rogers sings Please Don't Think It's Funny. Returning to the towel he brought with him, Mister Rogers shows a film about how people make towels.

Mister Rogers arrives with two pieces of wood which were given to him by Bob Trow. Using his imagination, Mister Rogers thinks of many things that the pieces could be used for before he sings You're Growing. Mr. Trow stops by with what appears to be a regular chair but Mister Rogers quickly realizes that when combined with the two pieces of wood, it becomes a rocking chair.

Mister Rogers arrives with a device which plugs into an electrical outlet and turns things on with the clap of the hands. Demonstrating the device with a lamp, Mister Rogers sings You've Got To Do It. Mr. McFeely stops by with a small remote-controlled robot and invites Mister Rogers to join him on a visit to where people make robots. At the robot factory, Tom Zaken provides a detailed demonstration of how some of his robots work. He then takes Mister Rogers and Mr. McFeely to the assembly area to see how the robots are put together.

Mister Rogers arrives with a small cooler containing an ice cream bar shaped like a gorilla. Taking a bite, he explains that foods that are shaped like animals and people are very different from real animals and people. This leads into a shortened version of Everybody's Fancy. At Brockett's Bakery, Mister Rogers sees some cakes shaped like some of the Neighborhood of Make-Believe characters. Chef Brockett introduces Mister Rogers to Brandon, a young friend who shows Mister Rogers a Donkey Kong game which is temporarily at the bakery to promote the cake sale. As they play the game, Keith David arrives to remove the quarters from the inside of the machine. In doing so, he is also able to show Mister Rogers and Brandon the electronic panel that makes the game work.

Rogers shows a new board game some friends based on the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Ella Jenkins shares some childhood stories and songs. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the children collectively figure out a way to stop the snowfall and permit the Make-Believe Olympic Games to begin.

Mister Rogers arrives with the materials needed to make a latch-hook rug which he has borrowed from Chef Brockett. He demonstrates the latch hook before returning the supplies. At Brockett's Bakery, Chef Brockett has a display of various kinds of rugs which he and Mister Rogers look at in detail. Mr. McFeely stops by the bakery to pick up a delivery which needs to be taken to a local daycare provider.

Mister Rogers arrives with a duffel bag and demonstrates the bag's zipper. Inside the bag, he has a pair of boots and another smaller bag with zippers. Mister Rogers mentions that zippers were originally called "clasp lockers" before he shows a film about how people make zippers. Following the film, Mister Rogers talks about asking questions when you're curious. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the Trolley delivers the mail which includes a lesson on Native American culture for X the Owl from the Owl Correspondence School.

Mister Rogers arrives with two orange balloons and sings Did You Know before Mr. McFeely stops by with a film about how people make balloons. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Neighbor Aber and Prince Tuesday visit Lady Elaine's special exhibit filled with balloons and dancers. Prince Tuesday is happy until Lady Elaine mentions the possibility of King Friday and Queen Sara not coming back from their trip. Handyman Negri is cleaning outside the castle and talks with Prince Tuesday about his worries. At Neighbor Aber's suggestion, they call King Friday and Queen Sara on the phone to make the Prince feel better.

Mister Rogers talks about wearing reading glasses and demonstrates a pair of glasses with "little telescopes" on them. He then shows some pictures of fish before singing Everybody's Fancy. Sallie Boggs stops by to show Mister Rogers how to take better care of his fish. Together they look at the various kinds of fish in Mister Rogers' tank. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, it's twilight and Lady Aberlin and Daniel Striped Tiger have a very peaceful conversation before they sing the Creation Duet. On her way to the castle, Lady Aberlin stops to talk with X the Owl who is very excited by his lessons on Native Americans and nature.

Mister Rogers arrives with a package of graham crackers and takes viewers along as he visits a factory where graham crackers are made. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Neighbor Aber and Lady Aberlin are decorating the castle to celebrate the return of King Friday and Queen Sara. Meanwhile, at the school, the children talk about times when they are sad or angry. Prince Tuesday shares about his bad dream. King Friday and Queen Sara are welcomed home from their trip and are informed of Prince Tuesday's dream by Neighbor Aber. Prince Tuesday comes home from school and shares his feelings with his parents.

Mister Rogers arrives with a wooden puzzle where specific shapes must be matched to their corresponding holes. After playing with the puzzle for a moment, Mister Rogers sings You've Got to Do It. Mr. McFeely stops by with a coin bank before he and Mister Rogers visit Negri's Music Shop where a collection of toy banks is on display. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday plans to purchase a record player for the Neighborhood school but he becomes distracted when a curious delivery is made to Corney's factory.

Mister Rogers shows a quarter and a nickel that he has in a small coin purse -- the coins were made in the same year he was born (1928). Viewers are invited along with Mister Rogers as he visits a place that manufactures coins and is given a tour of the facility. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday and Miss Paulificate are making phone calls to ask others what the King should do about the possibility that Southwood is making bombs. When Corney is asked if his piece might be part of a bomb, he replies, "Well, of course it might be. But I doubt that it is. I mean why would anybody want to order that many bombs? I'm making a million of those parts."

Mister Rogers brings a Braille writing machine with him and demonstrates how it works. He then takes viewers with him as he visits with Jim Swauger in a cave where he see the petroglyphs of an early civilization. On the way back to the house, Mister Rogers stops by Negri's Music Shop to see Don Liuzzi practice the marimba and a few other percussion instruments.

Mister Rogers brings with him a box full of colored blocks. He takes them to the kitchen were he uses them to build a bridge. He also has with him a handful of marbles which he shows before watching films on how people use and make marbles. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine and Lady Aberlin take Bob Dog with them to Southwood to find out what exactly is going on. Upon their arrival, they learn that the parts Corney made have been used to build a bridge, not for building bombs.

Mister Rogers arrives with a record player which he demonstrates in the kitchen. The record he plays is a 45 RPM recording of Everybody's Fancy. He then shows a film about how people make record players. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, everyone is preparing for a celebration of peace. The citizens of Southwood are invited to the celebration by Queen Sara. The children of the Neighborhood are working with Lady Elaine Fairchilde as they sing Peace and Quiet while Lady Aberlin goes throughout the Neighborhood asking everyone what they think about peace. Keith, the carpenter from Southwood, helps the Neighborhood school by using Corney's parts to make a record player.

Mister Rogers arrives with a letter he received from Mr. William Bolger, the Postmaster General of the United States. Showing the postage stamps, Mister Rogers explains that it costs money to send mail and invites viewers along as he visits Mr. Bolger to see how stamps are made. At Mr. Bolger's office, Mister Rogers talks to him about being the Postmaster General and his interest in the postal service. Mister Rogers is then introduced to Gordon Morison and Clarence Holbert who show him how stamps are made. Mr. Holbert shows how they are designed and Mr. Morison shows how they are printed.

Mister Rogers arrives with a piece of string that came on a package. Using the loop, Mister Rogers shows a few games and tricks that can be played with such a string and then sings Did You Know. After a phone call from Jane Henshaw, Mister Rogers visits her at the Neighborhood dairy farm where he learns about cows. He also sees how cows are milked and how the milk is bottled.

Mister Rogers arrives with a bucket and a rubber washer. Taking the washer to the kitchen, he finds that it is too large to be used to repair his kitchen faucet. After a phone call to Bob Trow, Mister Rogers visits Trow's workshop to pick up a washer that fits. At Trow's workshop, Bob Trow is repairing a shovel with a broken handle. Once that task is completed, Mister Rogers is shown a collection of various washers and is able to find one just the right size. Mr. Trow then demonstrates an antique water pump he has recently repaired.

Mister Rogers arrives with an apple which he says was given to him by Betty Aberlin on his way in. Putting the apple in the refirgerator, Mister Rogers is reminded of his shopping list and invites viewers along as he visits the Neighborhood grocery store. As Mister Rogers is arriving at the grocery store, he is greeted by Chef Brockett who is riding by on a bicycle. Inside the store, Mister Rogers buys his groceries and is treated to a tour of the stock room by Wayne and Joel Wagner.

Mister Rogers opens by talking about how his job is to make television programs for children. As the camera pans out, viewers are treated to a glimpse of the studio where Mister Rogers' Neighborhood is filmed. After briefly introducing Johnny Costa, Bobby Rawsthorne, and Carl McVicker, Mister Rogers returns to his television home and talks about writing music. He then sings It's You I Like and spends some time thinking about the kind of work that children do. Opening a case he brought with him, Mister Rogers shows several of the Neighborhood of Make-Believe puppets before Mr. McFeely stops by with a set of pictures. The pictures show many of the sets and puppets that Fred Rogers had used throughout his career.

Rogers takes the model Neighborhood Trolley to the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in Washington, PA filled with real trolleys. He rides one of the restored trollies (Philadelphia Rapid Transit Company #5326) in one direction and drives it back in the other direction. After returning to the television house, Rogers shows the controls of how he operates the Trolley. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the Trolley and everyone else is surprised with a French trolley called "Grandparents' Express." It has a message for Grand-père that his granddaughter Colette is visiting.

Mister Rogers arrives with a partially completed homemade wind chime made of straws, strings, and bells. He shows how it is made and by adding one more bell, he completes the chime. At Negri's Music Shop, Mister Rogers meets John Blake who is visiting the shop with his son Johnathan. Accompanied by Johnny Costa, Carl McVicker, and Joe Negri, Mr. Blake plays a number on his violin. Johnathan demonstrates his own violin and then joins the others as they play Many Ways to Say I Love You. Returning to the house, Mister Rogers shares a few photographs of himself and his parents from when he was a little boy.

Mister Rogers mentions that he has been thinking about an old car that his grandparents had when he was younger. Showing a picture of the car that he brought with him, Mister Rogers shares a video to remember a time when he drove a similar car. He also mentions that his grandparents often read to him which he believes is the reason he enjoys books so much. Mister Rogers then looks at a picture book about tools before singing Did You Know.

Mister Rogers arrives with a handheld cassette recorder which he demonstrates by recording himself and playing it back. He plays another tape recording of various grandparents who tell what their grandchildren call them and also shares a few photographs of his own grandparents.

Mister Rogers does not change into his sweater and sneakers as usual. Instead, he sings a slightly different version of Won't You Be My Neighbor as he enters: "...a beautiful day for an opera. Would you like one? I know I'd like one..." He promptly introduces the newest Neighborhood opera: A Granddad for Daniel. The opera opens as Grandparents' Day is underway and Daniel Mefford (played by Daniel Striped Tiger) talks with his parents about his grandfather. Daniel's father, Charles Mefford (Neighbor Aber), shows him a picture of his grandfather and reminds Daniel that his grandfather left long ago. Both Daniel's father and mother leave for the jungle -- Daniel's father, a professional polisher, on foot, and his mother (Lady Aberlin), a trolley conductor, with a few passengers on her trolley. Along with Daniel, Mrs. Mefford's passengers include a straw salesman who has traveled the world.

Mister Rogers arrives with a picture book about vegetables. After looking through the book, he talks about how people sometimes put different kinds of vegetables together to make soup. He then invites viewers along to take a tour of a vegetable soup factory led by Mary Ellis. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the effort to help Northwood is underway as a mass of Speedy Seeds have begun to produce a hearty crop. Meanwhile, Daniel is disappointed to learn that the can of vegetable soup that he planted will not grow into a vegetable soup tree. To make him feel better, Bob Dog secretly places cans of soup on a tree planted in Daniel's pot. When he sees how excited Daniel is that his soup actually "grew," Bob Dog doesn't have the heart to tell him the truth. Back at the house, Mister Rogers sings I Like to Be Told.

Rogers visits the home of music director and close friend John Costa, who is preparing a pasta dinner. As the all-out effort for Northwood comes to a close, Bob tells Daniel the truth about the "vegetable soup tree".

Rogers goes to one of the SeaWorld theme parks to see the killer whales, Shamu and Namu, dance with the spectators. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine sets up a dance studio and invites only the females, because she knows that men don't dance.

Rogers first sees Sam Weber demonstrating his tap-dancing skills. Mr. McFeely shows a videotape on how shoes are made. Sam Weber also visits the Neighborhood of Make-Believe to disprove Lady Elaine's belief that men don't dance.

Rogers visits the Dance Theatre of Harlem. Lady Elaine changes the name of her dance studio and sends dance invitations to all the men, except for Grand-père.

Rogers visits an expert weaver and helps in making a scarf. Lady Elaine invites the Junior Tamburitzans to her studio.

Rogers starts off the program by showing a picture book of animals, but the giraffe picture is misplaced as a skunk and the skunk image is misplaced as a giraffe. Susan Linn enters with the puppets she uses in talking to children. The puppets also go to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe all week. One of them, Audrey Duck, has her feelings hurt.

Mr. McFeely brings the corrected animal book with the skunk and giraffe images in their proper places. He shows a videotape on how books are made. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Audrey Duck is overwhelmed with the thought of reading her poem to so many people.

Rogers has gone to a meeting, so Chuck Aber fills him in at the television house. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, a visiting Mr. Skunk feels embarrassed because, in a frightened moment, he sprays Audrey Duck and the surroundings.

Rogers sees Alan Morrison play the organ at a nearby church. Lady Elaine Fairchilde squirts water at anyone who mentions "three-cornered hat" to her. King Friday hardens his position with a rule.

Chef Brockett explains how he uses canes to walk following his operation. Rogers returns to see Alan Morrison play alongside a flutist and a clarinetist. Betty Okonak Templeton visits the Neighborhood of Make-Believe with a way to break the impasse between King Friday and Lady Elaine.

Using a portable sewing machine, Rogers shows the stark contrast between clothing of today and clothes of the 1700s. Then he visits a building in Colonial Williamsburg. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine and Betty Okonak Templeton exploit the loophole in King Friday's three-cornered rule. Finally, everyone else takes off the hats.

The Neighborhood of Make-Believe finds a newcomer. Stephen Owl, who is X's cousin, is in search of a tunnel believed to be in the neighborhood. Rogers shows the inside and outside of an ambulance.

Rogers gets a feel for shooting a basketball from a chair. This segues eventually to his visit with a wheelchair basketball team called the Steelwheelers. More residents in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe join in Stephen's search for a hidden tunnel. One clue comes from a scrap of paper.

Rogers uses a long piece of plumbing pipe to simulate a tunnel in which blocks and a car could travel through. Mr. McFeely shows a video of passing through a car wash. Maggie Stewart brings a water-and-oil motion sculpture to the television house. Jay Styperk, a wheelchair basketball specialist, gives Rogers a few exercises. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe is startled to see Lady Elaine has turned the Eiffel Tower upside down.

Lady Elaine Fairchilde is distraught that, in a fit of anger, she has turned Mr. McFeely into a doll.

Betty Okonak Templeton visits the Neighborhood of Make-Believe in an effort to ease Lady Elaine's mean mood.

Rogers attends the rehearsals for Stomp. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe comforts a harried Lady Elaine, who rights the Eiffel Tower and learns that Mr. McFeely was not turned into a doll after all. JoAnn Swaim does a juggling act outside Rogers' television house. Rogers shows pictures of the show's neighbors as children and as adults. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe is looking for Purple Panda so they can give him his package.

Rogers demonstrates that he doesn't change when he wears dark glasses or a black wig. Lady Aberlin tries the same tactic in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Mr. McFeely shows a time-lapse videotape of how the television house is set up in the studios of WQED in Pittsburgh.

Rogers visits B. Smith's restaurant and reunites with B. Smith herself. Smith returns to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and leaves a napkin for Queen Sara. But the napkin is swept away, because of Lady Elaine's army of "vacuum sweepers".

After Rogers draws with some colored chalk, he sees a videotape on how this type of chalk is made. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Purple Panda is called on to help Lady Elaine overcome her fear of "vacuum sweepers".

Purple Panda sings a song that helps Lady Elaine overcome her fear of "vacuum sweepers". Rogers' visits an inner-city arts center for children in Los Angeles.

The Neighborhood of Make-Believe has witnessed cereal falling like snow over a couple of areas. It stops snowing cereal over at the Platypus Mound, but not at Daniel's Clock.

Rogers' friend Brad Brewer, a knitter and puppeteer, talks of the puppets and puppet shows he has performed in. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Elsie Jean Platypus explains that the cereal stopped falling on the Platypus Mound when she wasn't afraid of it. But Daniel is afraid of the cereal snowfall on his Clock. And Then Maggie Stewart Shows A Videotape On How People Make Grits

Rogers visits the McFeelys' house to see the lambs they are babysitting. Mr. McFeely plays a videotape on how lambs are sheared. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe sends armor-clad King Friday to the Clock, where he will attempt to command the cereal to stop falling. But only Daniel's presence at the Clock can stop the downpour.

Rogers takes viewers to see his immunization at a doctor's office. Daniel finally faces his fears, with the aid of Chuck Aber and Lady Aberlin. They give him an inflatable boat prior to appearing at the Clock. Only Daniel can stop the falling cereal at the Clock, and he does.

With the crisis at the Neighborhood of Make-Believe over, Daniel asks that his pile of fallen cereal should be distributed to the people who need it most. After a swim, King Friday is startled to find that his crown has been taken.

Rogers displays a horse Leonard Streckfus constructed from found objects. He also visits Streckfus at his workshop, where other found-objects sculptures are on display. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mayor Maggie learns the Westwood town sign is missing. It appears Lady Elaine has taken it for her "found" objects exhibit.

Mr. McFeely shows a videotape on how apple juice is made. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe continues to see things disappear, just as Lady Elaine is ready to hold a "found objects" exhibit at her Museum-Go-Round.

Rogers visits Gonzales at his studio to see goupet-goupet sculptures. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, more things have gone missing, including Edgar Cooke's refrigerator and Daniel's truck.

Mr. McFeely shows a videotape on how heavy equipment is used in construction sites. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine agrees to display and return all those "borrowed" things. But there is a trick or two involved.

Rogers visits a theater to see a juggling act called the Flying Karamazov Brothers. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, X is preparing to give flying lessons.

Rogers' comforts a visit with Koko the Gorilla. No such warmth can be found in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe when a different gorilla visits. The lone exception is Lady Aberlin, who finds the gorilla tame.

Rogers visits his eye doctor to have his vision checked. Mr. McFeely presents a video on how eyeglass lenses are made. Lady Elaine is bent on warning the Neighborhood of Make-Believe about the visiting gorilla.

Rogers talks about how a variety of sticks is similar to a group of words: the more you have, the better you can work with them. Mr. McFeely shows a video of a service dog, named C.D., aiding a handicapped child. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Dr. Bill Platypus tries to ensure Lady Elaine that the gorilla, called Kevin Wendell, is tame. Prince Tuesday is a natural at working a yo-yo, much to King Friday's chagrin. To everyone's dismay, Friday disallows any yo-yos in the neighborhood.

At an airport, Rogers sees Mr. McFeely about to take deliveries on a helicopter. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin and Miss Paulifficate are unwilling enforcers of King Friday's bar on yo-yos. This does not prevent Lady Elaine from flying a helicopter she has called "Yo-Yo". She flies up, but does not come down.

Lady Elaine is trying to send messages for her neighbors to get her down from her stuck helicopter. Unfortunately, Bob Dog grabs on her hat message and gets stuck himself. Mr Rogers Watches How People Make Grape Jelly In The Factory On Picture Picture

Mr. McFeely shows a videotape of his visit to inventor Chuck Hoberman. Rogers gets a visit from Mrs. McFeely. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri rescues both Bob Dog and Lady Elaine. Rogers plays a cassette tape of cello music and reflects on Yo-Yo Ma and his son Nicholas.

Rogers visits the studio apartment of an innovative architect. She explains how an appreciation of the earth inspired her to design certain tables, seats, and couches. Cornflake S. Pecially improves King Friday's mood with a "Royal Automated Yo-Yo". Further reason to repeal the "no yo-yos" rule comes from a videotape of Yo-Yo Ma.

Rogers witnesses the Westminster Choir College Bell Choir. Mr. McFeely shows a video on how bells are made. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mayor Maggie presents a loud bell to Henrietta. That bell quickly becomes a big irritant to the others.

Rogers attends the rehearsals for a dance team that performs with long ribbons. Henrietta, X, and a muted Bob Dog are frightened when they see so many of their neighbors in strange costumes. What they don't know is that these costumed neighbors are staging a parade. This is the last episode that Bob Trow appears in. He died a few months before it aired.

Rogers visits drum performer Tim Adams. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, X and Henrietta have rigged their tree so that, at the first sign of anything unnatural, everyone will hear constant drumming.

Rogers recounts his snorkeling adventure with Sylvia Earle, back from 1990. Sylvia Earle visits the television house, and screens a videotape on the sounds of fish. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, everyone is upset at the constant bell-ringing and drumming at Henrietta and X's tree. No one can convince him to stop, especially since fewer and fewer neighbors remain uncostumed.

Chuck Aber, dressed as a marching-band leader, visits the television house to borrow one of Rogers' noisemakers. Contrasting the noise is Rogers' contention that a smile is quiet and lovable. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe is ready for its costume-laden parade, but must convince X and Henrietta of the parade's nature.

Rogers assembles a fountain in his kitchen. He shows a videotape of numerous fountains from around the world. Chuck Aber shows a videotape on how raincoats are made. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday donates the old castle fountain to Mayor Maggie and the people of Westwood. Lady Elaine gets a gift as well. Rogers and Chuck Aber discuss the proper safety gear for inline skating. Those in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe think they have made progress to curb Lady Elaine's random squirts. Mr. McFeely shows a video on how concrete sidewalks are made.

Mr. Rogers visits Marc Brown, creator of the Arthur book series and shows him how he draws Arthur. After explaining how the TV show is made, they watch a clip of the episode "Arthur Meets Mister Rogers", which Rogers himself guest-starred on, and meet Michael Yarmush, who does the voice of Arthur and Arthur himself shows up in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, greeting several neighbors — including Lady Elaine. Rogers views a video on how traffic lights are assembled.

Rogers takes an extended trip to the Pittsburgh fire station. The lessons learned there, extend to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, as several neighbors become volunteer fire fighters. Maggie Stewart Brings a Videotape On How People Make Towels

Rogers goes to a school gym class to dance and exercise where he witnesses a school fire drill. The Neighborhood of Make-Believe gives support to the Platypus family following the previous day's fire. King Friday gives an award to Lady Elaine for her action.

Rogers enters with a computer mouse and introduces viewers to a different room of the television house. He introduces viewers to the online neighborhood ([1]). Mr. McFeely shows a video on how a computer mouse is fixed. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday and Queen Sara are searching for the "royal mouse". He has been in the Museum-Go-Round, busily planning a surprise with Lady Elaine.

Rogers reads the library book When the TV Broke before visiting the neighborhood library. Once there, he finds a title the librarian recommends. Before he reads, Rogers sits in on a kids' crafts group. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday insists that the royal HulaMouse must return to the Castle. Chuck Aber sees him first, and when he takes HulaMouse to the Castle, they learn King Friday is flying around the world in search of him.

Rogers visits the studio of George Rhoads. He watches as Rhoads demonstrates one of his mechanical ball inventions. A co-worker shows Rogers around to see various men at work on these machines. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday returns, not at all pleased by HulaMouse's absence. At the height of his anger, he breaks a toy that Lady Aberlin has brought.

Joe Negri visits the television house to repair a ukulele. Mr. McFeely shows a videotape on how bread is made. Not everyone in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe has recovered from the shock of the day before. After King Friday tries an apology, Lady Elaine feels everything is ready for her surprise. Rogers uses a frame to concentrate on small sections of a large mural. Seeing a set of vegetables in one section of the mural, he reflects on a visit to a vegetable garden, referred to as an "edible school yard". In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday is irritated when Purple Panda and his compatriot, Little Panda, fool him. He commands that they cancel all curiosity.

Rogers makes a shaker out of small lid tops and a can before seeing several homemade instruments played at Negri's Music Shop. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Chuck Aber begins to build a truck frame around curious Daniel's Clock. Little Panda tries to show Prince Tuesday how to travel "the Purple way," but they both get lost.

Rogers visits a friend who takes him on a bucket lift prior to trimming trees. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Purple Panda suggests that Little Panda and Prince Tuesday may not be on anyplace familiar.

Rogers gives a final discussion on false faces. He then visits a new studio set, the toy-and-book store run by a new neighbor, Tony Chiroldes. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, everyone is still looking for Little Panda and Prince Tuesday. Betty Okonak Templeton uses a telescope, as do the others, to discover just the planet to seek. It is up to HulaMouse to rescue Tuesday and Little Panda.

Rogers reads his own book titled "Daniel Striped Tiger Gets Ready for Bed". He finds violinist Hilary Hahn at Negri's Music Shop. Nighttime grips the Neighborhood of Make-Believe with worry over Little Panda and Prince Tuesday.

Rogers witnesses a majestic ballet dancer and her teacher. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine reveals her plans for a new game show.

Chuck Aber visits the television house with his H.J. Elephant III puppet and the book I Read Signs. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin discovers H.J. Elephant III knows sign language. What nobody knows is how to get H.J. involved in The Reading Game.

Given assistance from Mayor Maggie, H.J. Elephant reads his first words on Lady Elaine's new show, The Reading Game. Mr. McFeely shows Rogers a video on how ball caps are made.

While tree-sitting for Mr. McFeely, Rogers draws a picture of a tiny oak tree. McFeely compliments the drawing, and later, he shows a video on how adult tricycles are made. Cousin Mary returns to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe to show her videotape of various trees.

Rogers takes his final visit to his sand table, leading to a video insert of Jessica Ricciardelli playing with sand at a beach. Afterward, Rogers makes his second and final trip to Tony Chiroldes' toy-and-book store. King Friday pronounces the Neighborhood of Make-Believe will hold an art festival. That doesn't impress Lady Elaine, who appoints herself the art judge.

The Neighborhood of Make-Believe sees Chuck Aber and HulaMouse's finished sand sculpture. Lady Elaine quickly criticizes it and just about everything else. But the sand sculpture inspires Lady Aberlin to dance, and leads Daniel to create a tiny mobile. Daniel suggests why Lady Elaine might be hurting people's feelings. Rogers does a video insert of his visit to a lady's pottery.

Rogers makes his final visit to Negri's Music Shop, where he meets an expert playing the glass harmonica. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, several discover just why Lady Elaine is hurting people's feelings.

Everyone in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe now knows that Lady Elaine is still dwelling on that day long ago when somebody hurt her feelings, but when the time comes to "judge" all the artwork she arrives not with a judgment, but with a collage of all the neighbors. It is Lady Elaine's rightful act of compassion toward those around her. Mr. McFeely and Rogers share a video collage of artists in their various fields.
