paintstore. is about a really average guy named Ben Short, who plays bass for his basement indie band, "paintstore." (that's where we got the title, you see) and Ben has been growing more and more bored with his totally average life. No job, taking time off school, no girlfriend, he needs something to liven up his life. As Ben interacts with this weird world of ours and as the final show approaches, Ben grows more and more uneasy.
